The Entry-Level Metallurgist will complete a comprehensive 12-month operational training program on a FIFO schedule, learning all aspects of mill operations, safety procedures, and metallurgical fundamentals. The Role The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing automated solutions, implementing new processes, optimizing existing processes, automated data collection, and executing the industrial control and programming strategy for GTI's production facilities. This position will work closely with the multiple teams to ensure flawless and quick speed to market. Success is gauged on the ability to deliver quality, detailed, and efficient solutions at scale. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal strategic role in priority projects from a feasibility standpoint through a full IQ, OQ, PQ validation and hand-off with a technical transfer to the site production team. We are currently looking to add a Process Engineer to our team. The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, documenting, and improving production processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality vehicle upfitting operations. This role creates work instructions, standard operating procedures, and best-practice documentation to support consistent production results across the organization. The Process Engineer will assist with building Bills of Materials (BOMs) for standard upfits, support troubleshooting on the production floor, and optimize workflow for quality, throughput, and cost. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting OEM body builder manuals to ensure upfits meet OEM requirements, maintaining regulatory compliance, and performing weight distribution and driveline analysis as needed. While small design projects may occur, this is primarily a process-focused engineering role. Key Responsibilities Process Documentation & Standardization Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and build guides for all production areas. Document best practices and ensure consistent use of approved production methods. Support training initiatives by providing clear, usable documentation for technicians and supervisors. Bills of Materials (BOMs) & Standard Upfit Support Assist in creating and maintaining BOMs for standard and recurring upfit packages.
