Required (Basic) Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering from an accredited institution. * Minimum three (3) years of engineering or technical experience in design and/or manufacturing. * No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Hodges facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. Skills: * Prior experience in an electromechanical product design role. * Prior experience in a value-analysis/value-engineering role. * Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma and Project Management. * Validation testing experience. * Familiarity with simulation analysis. * Product design experience with 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor is Preferred). * Knowledge of DFMEA and engineering problem solving tools. * Knowledge of DfM&A & Tolerance stack analysis. * Working knowledge of regulatory standards that covers low voltage distribution equipment. * Team player and ready to work with cross functional teams to achieve common goals. #LI-HA1 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
