Job Description:
The Construction Materials Technician is responsible for the testing of asphalt to ensure adherence to federal, state, and/or customer specifications. This position works with asphalt plant personnel, construction personnel, and governmental agencies.
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (KMI will train/mentor):
Perform asphalt testing and analysis
Perform aggregate sampling and testing
Perform density testing on asphalt pavements
Complete governmental and customer reports for test results
Communicate testing results to the plant, construction personnel, and government agencies
Investigate customer complaints regarding discrepancies between test results and asphalt received
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities (KMI will train/mentor):
Strong attention to detail
Possess good mathematical skills
Knowledge of asphalt quality control processes

Qualifications
Required Education, Certifications, and/or Experience
High School Diploma
Preferred Education Certifications, and/or Experience
Experience with Severe and Persistent Mentally Ill (SPMI) clients in a residential setting is a plus.
Computer Experience
CPR/First Aid Certifications, De-escalation - TCN will provide upon hire
Central Supply
Highland Hills, OH
Managing the ordering and stocking of central supply items (briefs, over the counter meds, gloves, gowns, etc. ) Managing inventory Stocking the facility and organizing the inventory Communicating and managing the overuse of items Identifying new products and systems that would benefit the nursing staff and facility Helping in other departments as needed Maintaining a budget Maintains good relationships with outside vendors Basic understanding of contracts and ordering software Supervisory Requirements This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities Qualification Education and/or Experience GED or High School Diploma C.
