Order warehouse supplies.

Lead Inventory Control Technician is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and parts room operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Acting as a team lead, this role provides guidance to junior staff, ensures adherence to safety standards, and plays a key role in optimizing warehouse workflows. The Senior Technician is expected to operate with minimal supervision, troubleshoot operational issues, and support the management team in achieving departmental goals.

Materials technician job in Hebron, OH
This position is responsible for insuring inventory accuracy at THK Manufacturing Company of America (TMA). Enter data into computer database and track flow of material through process. Manage and maintain inventory levels through a database to meet distribution demands. Plan, organize, develop and carry out cycle counting to maintain the perpetual inventory system. This position will also reconcile to the book inventory on the designated month ending dates and propose the related adjusting entries. 1st Shift 7am-3pm
Responsible for manual entry of all Linear Motion and Link Ball Material Movement. This includes movement from receiving, to warehouse locations and to Link Ball production areas and utilize the fork-lift as needed.
Manage purchase prices from various vendors to ensure alignment with standard cost.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting per procedures developed by TMA. The position is responsible for adjustments to the perpetual system, reconciling to the book inventory monthly and provide purchasing functions to Linear Motion and Link Ball as required.
Random check stock locations in raw material, wipe any finished goods (TMA stock only) to insure accurate product locations. Make location adjustments to the perpetual system as required.
Verify all vendors receiving and put-a-way at TMA. Insure timely and accurate processing daily.
Investigate no-stock listings and verify discrepancies making inventory and location adjustments as required.
Verify returned goods from customers for re-work or replacement. Ensure proper paperwork and adjustments to the perpetual are completed.
Produce weekly/month end write up on cycle count results and related issues to inventory activity. Assist in the development of policies and procedures as required. Provide management with statistical reporting on inventory benchmarks.
Responsible for reporting material consumption to inventory systems.
Generate necessary documentation for shipping to TMA-center.
Perform material handling duties as needed utilizing the fork-lift when necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Incumbents must have the aptitude to acquire the basic skills required for this position within the 3-month orientation period; full understanding of and ability to create documentation (such as records and operation sheets, etc.). Very strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage/motivate people and communicate effectively to all levels within the company.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis (up to 100+ with assistance). Computer skills helpful. Must have experience using Microsoft Office products primarily using Word and Excel.
