Janitorial
You will have the opportunity to:
Perform job duties which focus on upkeeping the plant site including the cafeteria, medical, offices, restrooms, etc. ensuring they are clean and orderly.
Remove litter and waste materials from cafeteria, medical offices, conference rooms, and restrooms.
Clean, mop, and strip and wax all offices, restrooms, and tiled hallways.
Wash windows, walls, and doors; clean window shades as needed.
Inspect and properly dispose of biohazardous and nonhazardous waste according to established procedures.
Maintain assigned work area and generally plans own route schedule for completing assignments.
Laundry
You will have the opportunity to:
Provide locker room orientation to visitors.
Perform quality checks on uniforms.
Collect, run and distribute laundry.
Perform inventory on uniforms and other stock.
Clean and inspect respirator equipment.
Decontamination
You will have the opportunity to:
Operate a variety of machinery for moving snow handling, road cleaning, material handling
Implement snow removal plan to include salting walkways and snow removal.
Operate forklifts/overhead cranes to move material.
Use lawn mowers, weed cutters, power washers, vehicles, and hand tools in the performance of assigned tasks.
Maintain plant roadway to facilitate dust control.
Perform work from elevated platforms, scaffolds, ladders and other devices to provide overhead cleaning activities.
Requirements:
High School Diploma /GED
1 year experience working in general career field, no previous experience required but is desirable
Requires on-the-job training to learn operation of equipment and various cleaning techniques associated with the job
Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team to meet demands
Must have good verbal and written skills
One week of training necessary to perform adequately in assigned area.
Essential Tasks:
This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment
This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs. and can maneuver large, cumbersome equipment
Required to do data entry and operate a computer at times
Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, grip or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms

* Participates in the continuous improvement process by making suggestions to Supervisors and Leads.

* Recognizes and controls the hazards associated with the work and properly responds to unexpected safety and/or environmental situations

* Determine the need for outside contractors and assist in preparing bid specifications and selecting contractors. Serve as liaison with contractors and review work of contractors for conformity to standards. Ensure the safety of contractors.

This Metallurgical Technician position prepares test samples, performs metallurgical testing, completes analysis and reports results on a variety of materials using defined processes and techniques. The Product Cost Engineer will have responsibility to interface with a defined business area, understand the associated product offerings, and work within a parametric cost modeling framework to deliver traceable and reliable proposals for new business opportunities.
