Job Description: Our Algebra Math Teacher needs to be an excellent classroom teacher, have a passion for curriculum design, and must have a strong skill set for differentiating lessons to meet students' needs. Teach reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and foundational literacy skills. Use structured literacy practices and small-group instruction to support diverse learners. Develop and implement lesson plans that build students' confidence and independence as readers and writers. Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to ensure mastery. Encourage a classroom culture that promotes curiosity, collaboration, and a genuine love for reading. Integrate technology and literature-based activities to enhance engagement. Collaborate with grade-level teams on curriculum development and instructional planning. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.
