JOB GOAL: To create and maintain a learning environment in which students can learn the prescribed curriculum and develop problem solving and communication skills.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares, presents and evaluates material for learning following the appropriate curriculum guides and core content.
Provides instruction, practice and assessment of open-response questions.
Maintains portfolios in subjects to demonstrate students' skills and to keep track of their development from year to year.
Designs and plans instruction which is developmentally appropriate and constructed on sound principles of learning __ motivation, reinforcement and practice.
Maintains a plan book, which demonstrates careful planning for all lessons.
Maintains accurate inventory of equipment, books, etc.
Provides guidance to students which will promote their welfare and educational development.
Promptly enters student attendance on computer and maintains accurate attendance records.

Provides a variety of activities for students to insure success in learning and effective motivation which reflect different learning styles and developmental level.
Participates in the planning and evaluation of curriculum and instructional practices.
Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy.
Completes and files all required reports punctually and accurately.
Conducts appropriate assessment of student progress and communicates it to parent/guardian.
Follows school policies and enforce these effectively with students and parents.
Works cooperatively and tactfully with all other members of the school faculty and staff.
