ABOUT THE ROLE: Middle School Teachers hold primary responsibility for the implementation and development of Achiever's curriculum and the success of its students. Therefore, Achievers Early College Prep seeks middle school teachers who are committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration as part of a grade level team. Teachers will have and be able to do the following: Expert in content knowledge in Mathematics Able to teach Intervention Math Extensive knowledge of Mathematics interventions that specifically target math skills Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices Collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions Provide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behavior Will be accountable for students' mastery of academic standards Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Able to teach remotely and in-person (school is currently remote and will work with the right candidate on scheduling flexibility QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred Minimum of two years teaching experience in an upper elementary or middle school with an underserved population Quantifiable track record of outstanding academic results Valid State Certification requested SIGNING BONUS The successful candidate will attract a $2,500 signing bonus

Our goal is to empower young people in West and North Philadelphia with the skills, confidence, and support they need to succeed in school and beyond. Position Summary: We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable Mentors to support students during before and after care hours. Availability: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM or split shift (6:45 AM-8:45 AM & 3:00 PM-6:00 PM). Mentors will engage youth in robotics and STEM-based learning activities while also serving as positive role models and providing consistent emotional and academic support. Must be able to reliably commute to West or North Philadelphia sites. Position Begins 8/18/2025 Schedule: Monday- Friday Split shifts 6:45am -8:45am and 3:00pm-6:00pm OR Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm-6:00pm Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering robotics and STEM activities in a fun and engaging way. Build strong, positive relationships with students while promoting respect and responsibility. Support lead teachers with classroom management and daily programming. Help with homework assistance, enrichment activities, and small group mentoring. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment. Communicate effectively with staff, families, and students. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education, child development, or STEM a plus. Previous experience working with children in afterschool, camp, or educational settings preferred. Interest in robotics, technology, or youth development strongly encouraged. Reliable, punctual, and committed to being a consistent presence for students. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
