QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications for Special Education Teacher:
· 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
· Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in state of practice

Plans and provides for appropriate classroom learning experiences for students. Provides an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student. Essential Job Functions
Develops lesson plans and instructional materials providing effective teaching strategies.

issues.
Understand developmental appropriateness of materials and differentiate instruction to meet
the needs of all learners.
Evaluates accomplishments of students on a regular basis using multiple assessment methods;
