Salary Information The starting pay for this position is between $29.50 and $35.06 per hour (approximately between $61,300 and $72,900 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Add-on pay up to an additional $2.97 per hour is available for relevant educational credits that are above those required for certification. A 12-month probationary period may be required. Pay for current or former state employees is set based upon the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is in pay schedule and range 13/04. Our students are typically diagnosed with a combination of developmental or neurological disabilities and emotional, behavioral or mental health disorders. The school calendar follows the typical 180 educational days with the opportunity to attend Extended School Year for students in need of this programming. CORE COMPETENCIES: Collaborate with Education Leadership team to understand the overall classroom structure, schedule, student dynamics, and learning paths for the different subject areas. In the absence of the classroom teacher and need for classroom supplies, submits purchase requests for reimbursement to immediate supervisor for prior approval.
