Job Description MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional position responsible for conducting, planning and organizing a sound physical education and health program in an intermediate elementary and middle school. The teacher is expected to understand and demonstrate effective student instruction and assessment to maximize educational achievement for all students; work collaboratively to ensure a working and learning climate for all students that is safe, secure and respectful. Work guaranteed hours 9:15am - 1:15pm Monday to Friday with our Homeschool Day Academy and then flexible hours tutoring core subjects and/or SAT/ACT in the afternoon (up to 20+ additional hours). Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning have limited lesson planning before class, GradePower administration communicates with parents, and all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods. Position Requirements: Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning work Mon - Fri (9:15am - 1:15pm) and optional portions of after-school and evening hours Mon - Fri (3:00pm - 7:00pm).
