Tutors will check homework, provide assignments, give timely feedback, and work with students individually to ensure their success. Responsibilities 1.Assist students with homework or projects assigned from school 2.Prepare weekly activities for academic and cultural enrichment. 3.Selects, adapts, and prepares materials for classes. 4.Engages students in class work and activities, such as, reading, sentence construction, composition, grammar, and math problem solving. 5.Maintains a healthy learning environment in the classroom. 6.Supports and guides students by assigning and giving feedback on a range of homework. 7.Maintains accurate, complete and appropriate records and files. 8.Helps students develop critical and higher order thinking skills. 9.Provides individual support and attention to students as required through tutorials and individual meetings. 10.Evaluates students' performance through class work, class participation, homework and tests.
