In order to create an encouraging learning environment for students while their regular Teacher is absent, the Substitute Teacher will need to effectively manage and instruct the class from roll call through to tidying up the classroom after the students have left. Mountain Pine is located 6 miles Northwest of Hot Springs. The High School is 7th - 12th grades with about 290 students and our Elementary is Pre-K - 6 th grades with about 340 students. We have a great staff and provide our classrooms with Smartboards and the latest technology to support instruction. We would like to have a person that is team oriented, possesses skills to personalize instruction and the needs of our students in a small rural community.
