ELL tutors work with the population of students who are English Language Learners supporting students who require specialized instruction in English. Tutorial is a temporary part time position with the district. Allows for flexibility in scheduling: Duties may include: working one on one or with a small group of students implementing instruction in a variety of subject areas with materials provided and organized by the classroom teacher and/or ELL teacher communicating with teachers regarding student progress providing weekly student updates introducing new learning, pre-planned in collaboration with the classroom teacher and/or English language learner teacher reviewing and reinforcing learning previously introduced by the teacher(s).
