Job DescriptionDescription: The Herbst Learning Center (HLC) provides a space dedicated to learning support for all students. All Drew students are eligible for tutoring through the HLC. With some exceptions, an HLC tutor provides 1:1 tutoring to Drew students from 9th to 12th grade. Each session is 40 minutes long. Tutors partner with students and families, and collaborate with Drew's faculty and HLC staff, to provide strategies and support for content, learning, and study. This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Duties and Ideal Skills: Multiple tutors work with multiple students simultaneously, so the tutor must be able to filter out distractions and keep the student focused.
