Reports To: Building Principal Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Washington State Teaching Certificate. * Ability to work with students. * Willingness to continue education as opportunities provided through the school. * Ability to keep accurate records and daily student contact. * Good communication skills. * Must be patient, compassionate, and persistent. * Fingerprinting and background check required. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performance Responsibilities: * Assist the Assistant Site Coordinator with preparation for the Gear Up clubs. * Support students in successful engagement. * Communicate with students, parents and staff in a variety of school settings. * Supervise students in the classroom. * Collect data and report student progress. * Maintain accurate data collection records. * Provide positive behavior management support. * Adapt teaching methods to achieve student goals. * Participate as a member of the education team. * Other duties as assigned.
