I am a seasoned operational leader and manager of talent with a proven track record of leading organizational planning and development that encompasses organizational vision, strategy, culture, and structure. Currently seeking a board position, ideally with a mid market or public traded company. My areas of oversight and expertise include Human Resources, IT, Business Development, Legal, and Product Development. I’m an award-winning communicator who has developed and implemented communications programs and provided strategic counsel for a variety of government agencies and other clients, including the U.S. Department of Education (ED), DOL, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the CDC Foundation. I have also developed effective communications plans for industry leaders such as Target, Mercedes-Benz, Nordstrom, Direct-TV, and Universal Studios, and frequently present at conferences, industry events, and client meetings.

At Mathematica, I’m driven by a belief that research findings are of little value if they fail to reach the decision makers and practitioners who need them, when they need them, and in formats that engage and help them achieve their goals. To deliver on this belief, I have overseen a transformation of the company’s communications and outreach capabilities since joining the company in 2010. Mathematica now has strong expertise and deep capacity to develop and deliver comprehensive and effective information dissemination initiatives. As the communications function has grown and matured, so has my role within Mathematica. As Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, I’m responsible for leading the planning and implementation of the company’s vision, strategy, and organizational structure, and overseeing the primary administrative functions of the organization.
