If you are a favorite, you get to do whatever you want otherwise you get wrote up for everything you do wrong like handing your card in the store There are no pros

Pros of working at Mathis Brothers

There is a lot of room for advancement, however, if you are in a needed position that is difficult to keep filled, your supervisor or manager will hinder your ability to promote to a higher paying, or different positon. They are more likely to offer you more money to stay where you are, even if you are sick of the position and want to do something else. Although employees are treated well, there needs to be a base pay in sales intstead of a revolving door of sales reps, pay a base plus commission and keep your sales staff happy.

Cons of working at Mathis Brothers

The health insurance is terrible as you must pay the first $2000.00 before it will pay anything. Healthy people are just donating the premium month after month and not going to the doctor for minor issues because of the deductible. This is a company that has an annual revenue of 300 Million dollars, they should be able to give up a jet plane, remote home, race horse or restraunt, to offer better insurance for their employees.

Pros of working at Mathis Brothers

I worked with some of the best people in the industry. A lot of really great perks that other companies don't have.

Cons of working at Mathis Brothers

Family owned so, there is always a struggle to understand what one owner wants versus the other. Nepotism is rampant and makes working very uncomfortable. The new consultant has silly rules like no drinks on your desk. People get written up and fired over such things. A family company but, not family oriented.

It’s 100% commission. There’s no base salary. If you don’t make sales. You don’t get paid.
