This role is based out of our Cincinnati, OH office. The position is paid hourly and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated and professional Technical Administrative Assistant to support our technical team members. This position provides assistance by reviewing and publishing internal and project documentation using company standards. Candidate requirements include 3-5+ years' experience as an administrative assistant or technical writer, and an associate degree or higher in a correlated field is preferred. This position requires an eye for detail, a high level of organizational and multitasking ability, and strong communication skills. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as general computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote is preferred. Experience in the engineering or technical industry field is a bonus! The engineering industry requires continued education due to the ever-changing technical world, so a good candidate would be a quick learner with an inquiring mind who can work well in a team or individually and who can provide great service to our clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proofread, edit, format, and publish documentation and proposals needed by staff of all levels while ensuring compliance to corporate standards.
Review documents and ensure proper spelling, grammar, and general math equations (sum, difference, product, quotient, etc.).
Copy, assemble, and distribute work produced in a timely manner.
Enter data and schedules into the project management system.
Meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
Contribute to the upkeep of the team tools and processes.
Actively participate in weekly department and division meetings or trainings whenever necessary.
Must be flexible to take on additional tasks to assist company including but not limited to composing emails, printing and scanning documents, schedule and assist with meetings/lunches, answering phones, office supply inventory management, mail distribution, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess 3-5+ years of technical administrative experience
The completion or pursuit of an Associate's degree in English, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
Excellent typing and proofreading skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use critical thinking skills to manage tasks
Expertise with key software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Must be able to work independently and as a contributing team member
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and plan to meet tight deadlines
Has prior experience in an engineering or technical industry (preferred)

This is a role based out of our Maumee, OH office. The position is a salaried role and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
Matrix Technologies is seeking a self-driven Field Service Technician to support our engineering and architectural teams in delivering high-quality data collection and site analysis for industrial and manufacturing clients. Matrix Technologies is looking for energetic and customer-focused piping designer who would like to be part of a team environment. This position will be the lead designer for process and utility piping systems for oil and gas, specialty chemical, and food and beverage production facilities. Our workload is diverse in size and complexity and Matrix has a reputation that allows us to choose the clients that we like to work for. Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study
Experienced Product Management professional with a minimum of 10+ years leading teams in software as a service product delivery.

Strong understanding of product development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Experience managing geographically dispersed resources and cross-functional teams.

This is a role based out of our Kansas City Office in Overland Park, KS. The position is a salaried role and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
Matrix is seeking a self-driven Structural Engineering professional. The position will work independently and as a part of a diverse team of multi-disciplinary engineers and architects to solve problems and execute projects for industrial and manufacturing clients. The core duties of this position are to prepare designs and drawings for site development and industrial infrastructure projects. The individual will gain well-rounded experience by working under the supervision of professional engineers to learn and apply basic engineering, 3D modeling, and drawing development techniques. The level of responsibility will depend on current skill sets and the ability to learn and show competence in completing assignments. Typical structural projects include the layout, engineering design, and inspection of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and foundations for buildings, process structures, access platforms, mechanical equipment, conveyors, and piping. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work under the direction of a professional engineer to prepare designs for foundations, structures for equipment supports, pipe supports, and building structures.

Learn and apply engineering design software for structural analysis and 3D modeling
Assist with and lead the development of engineering contract documents, including 3D models, drawings, details, specifications, and installation scopes of work.

Prepare project correspondence as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

OVERVIEW
Join our team as a Process Mechanical Drafter!
This is a role based out of our Denver office, in Westminster, CO. The position is a salaried role and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
Matrix is seeking entry-level drafting professionals to join our team in Westminster, CO. Ideal candidates for this position will have a solid foundation of experience with CAD-based software and a strong aptitude for learning. Good written and oral communication skills, desire to grow and expand in experience, and willingness to learn cross discipline design are required for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Works in a safe manner at all times. Adheres to both Matrix and client-established safety standards when appropriate.
* Perform design and engineering functions in accordance with accepted practices and company standards.
* On small projects, interface with the client as necessary to obtain and communicate project information related to project design parameters, schedules, and budgets.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation to include proposal, project log record, Work Breakdown Structures Report (WBS), memos, letters, meeting minutes, scope changes, and associated documents.
* Gather field data and prepare project specifications.
* Coordinate design activities of other team members in preparation of the construction documents.
* Prepare construction scopes of work, bills of material, specifications, cost estimates, and other necessary construction documents for projects.
* Maintain and/or develop positive client relationships on projects assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Associates degree (AAS) or Certificate in CADD software, or related field required.
* Entry-level to two (2) years of experience in the industrial design arena.
* Proficient with AutoCAD - preferred.
* Proficient in Revit.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without employer sponsorship.

This is a role based out of our Maumee, OH office. The position is a salaried role and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
Matrix Technologies is seeking a self-driven Field Service Technician to support our engineering and architectural teams in delivering high-quality data collection and site analysis for industrial and manufacturing clients. This role involves operating advanced field equipment, including 3D laser scanners, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and GPS surveying tools, to gather accurate site data. The technician will also assist in developing engineering documentation and maintaining strong client relationships
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate 3D laser scanning, GPR, and surveying equipment at client sites to collect engineering data.
Interpret and analyze general designs provided by engineers or project leaders.
Prepare detailed design drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360.
Assist in developing engineering contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
Maintain positive client relationships through professional conduct and a helpful attitude.
Work safely at all times, adhering to Matrix and client safety standards.
Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for project execution.
Prepare project correspondence and documentation as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Related technical certification required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
3 years of experience in civil, structural, or architectural design preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
Experience with Revit and BIM 360 preferred.
Experience with topographic and GPS surveying, 3D laser scanning, and GPR utility locating is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently across multiple projects.
Willingness to travel and perform field work in industrial environments
Estimated travel is 70-80%, with 25-30% overnight travel.
