Dust and polish furniture windows, mopping, emptying trash receptacles and vacuuming in all areas of the organization
Replenish soap dispensers and toilet paper in bathrooms and ensure bathroom floors, counters and fixtures are properly sanitized
Adhere to the Universal Precautions and safety procedures always
Utilize all cleaning equipment properly and adhere to safety guidelines
Perform grounds keeping duties (ie, trash collection)
High School diploma, or equivalent, required. At least 1-2 years previous experience in housekeeping, floor technician (i.e., buffing, stripping, etc.) and grounds keeping required.

Ensures buildings are secure by overseeing security staff and maintaining communication with security system vendor(s).
Follows proper procedure for opening the facility and reporting any security breaches or potential risk.

Complete lab slips for lab work to be done making sure all information is correct with dates, signatures, and shades. At the end of each visit prior to dismissing the patient; make sure that patient's chart is complete indicating procedures done today and what procedure is to be completed at the next visit.
To maintain a clean and organized operatory at all times. At the beginning of each appointment operatory should be clean, stocked, and ready for patient.
To perform routine maintenance, including but not limited to the lubrication of equipment, the sharpening of dental hand instrument, the cleaning and maintenance of instruments and equipment, changing of needed solutions.
Maintain darkroom, solution supplies and equipment maintenance.
To aid the dentist in placing the patient at ease through reassuring conversation and actions.
Clean and organize dental lab and clean impressions trays.
