This position reports to the Head of Middle School, serves as the administrative assistant to Lower and Middle School Division Heads, and collaborates closely with all constituencies of both the Lower and Middle School (faculty, staff, administration, and families). Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain student files, attendance, and other records
Answer phone calls and emails from parents and school administrators
Assist visitors on school campuses
Prepare school communications such as attendance, weekly newsletters, reports, letters, and other documents
Manage the division offices (supplies, equipment, calendars, etc.) in a collaborative, cooperative way
Manage substitutes and ensure all substitutes are clocking in and out of APS self-serve (the school's HRIS platform) correctly
Keep track of requested time off (PTO), contact substitutes, and arrange proper coverage
Manage faculty/staff/substitute records and communicate with constituents when and if a document needs to be renewed
Coordinate student conferences and proof comments and correspondence in student records
Maintain Blackbaud (the school's Student Information System), including student records and progress, communication distribution lists, resource boards, and master/divisional schedules
Manage the documentation for the preschool staff for state licensing audit
Oversee curriculum ordering under the direction of the division head
Manage school-wide projects as needed
Assist with miscellaneous tasks to ensure the success of both divisions
Assist with all projects, events, and division initiatives
Meet performance goals established as part of the annual performance-planning process or as the result of organizational planning
Actively engage in personal and professional work in support of the school's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Works independently with minimal supervision
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
General Office Support:
Basic office equipment: From copiers to fax machines, school administrative assistants should be highly knowledgeable about various office equipment
Google Suite Applications: Many tasks assigned to school administrative assistants pertain to generating reports or sending emails, so these professionals should be proficient in Google Suite
Blackbaud Student Information System: The software used to build classes, reports, and other materials as needed

About the Position:
Saint Ignatius High School, a highly successful Catholic, Jesuit college preparatory school for boys in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Head Varsity Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. The position is a full-time, 12-month position, including benefit offerings, working through the calendar year and reports to the Athletic Director. The ideal candidate will have experience with coaching at the high school or collegiate level and possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication and record-keeping abilities, and the desire to work with high school athletes.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
1. Assistant Athletic Director Responsibilities
Manage all operational needs for basketball, golf, tennis, and volleyball; serving as the sports administrator/point person for the head of the program.
Ensure compliance with school, league, and OHSAA rules and regulations for each of your sports.
Schedule pre-season planning meetings with heads of covered programs to go over the budget, schedules and transportation needs. Plan regular check-ins with those coaches during the season. Share all planning information with appropriate co-workers (travel with Athletic Operations Coordinator and facility usage with Assoc. AD).
As a member of the athletics department, attend the weekly planning meeting, annual all-coaches meeting and fulfill duties as assigned.
Act as a site manager for home games and events. Responsible for all aspects of the event from greeting officials and opponents to locking down at the end of the event.
Attend all varsity home football games to assist the AD and Associate AD with game day duties/operations.
Manage all data entry and game input for any programs using the ScoreVision scoreboards in Sullivan Gym and on Wasmer Field.
Ensure all home events have a clock worker and announcer (when needed).
Assist the Associate Athletic Director with daily upkeep and cleanliness of all athletic facilities via regular communication with the head of programs.
Act as the liaison with CYO for any events hosted by Saint Ignatius High School with special emphasis on the regularly scheduled football and basketball games. The Asst. Athletic Director will also assist in the coordination of the Wasmer Games each year in the spring.
2. Head Varsity Basketball Coach Responsibilities
Organize and supervise the school basketball program for grades 9-12.
Ensure that you and your staff participate in all aspects of the coaching formation program.
Develop a basketball program that at its core is driven by our school mission.
Work to ensure that faith formation has a strong influence within the program. This can be accomplished by working closely with the chaplain for basketball.
Assist the Athletic Director in scheduling games, development of the basketball budget, travel arrangements, and obtaining college scholarship assistance for qualified athletes.
Manage program budget effectively, including equipment purchases, travel expenses, and other financial responsibilities.
Responsible for the promotion and execution of youth programming related to basketball, including (but not limited to) youth camps, AAU, hosting CYO and other similar activities.
Assist with the inventory and maintenance of all basketball equipment and compile related statistics.
Train, hire and evaluate all levels of coaches within the program and all student athletes within the basketball program.

3. Admissions
Collaborate with the admissions team to promote the school.
Attend weekly admissions meetings.
Actively participate in the Wildcat for a Day program, including greeting students as they arrive and depart each day.
Be a daily presence at SEP, i.e. be present at check in, lunch and athletic period to welcome, chat with kids, walk around, create a list of prospects (when not in conflict with basketball camps).
Be present for Open House and assist with other admissions events, i.e. Freshman Family Welcome, Freshman Cookout, some Test Day panels.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:The International Program Manager's role is to ensure the safety and well-being of residential students while maintaining a quality of student life consistent with the philosophy and objectives of both the mission of the school and the residential program.

Operations

Key Responsibilities and Duties:The school counselor works directly with students, various grades individually and in small groups. This includes connections and referrals to outside resources, as well as working with outside providers to support students while in school.
