We're looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Northfield, OH area. About the Position of Automotive Mechanic As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Mavis's Automotive Mechanics perform a wide variety of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. Automotive Mechanics are also responsible for completing state-mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires. Your Role as an Advance Tire Technician: As a Tire Technician, you'll play a key role in replacing, repairing, and rotating tires on customer vehicles. This position offers hands-on training geared towards helping you build the skills needed for more advanced roles. What You'll Do: * Install and repair tires. * Operate balancers and tire machines. * Complete work orders accurately. * Maintain and organize the shop and equipment. * Assist customers and co-workers as needed. * Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs. * Promote a safe and collaborative work environment. Perform maintenance and repair on: Brakes HVAC systems Steering & suspension Drivetrain Electrical systems Commercial tires Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections and DOT inspections. Perform fleet inspections and routine service. Respond to roadside service calls using a fully equipped F-350 service truck when needed. Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
