Decent hours and good starting pay
Managers feel if they have any issue with you then they keep you from actually making money, tell you they will promote you to mechanic so you can make more money then decide if they have an issue with you they blackball.you and restrict your jobs.
When I first started, it was the actual job and potential to make a decent paycheck, but after nine months, I've actually seen that that's not the case
Upper management is good, they actually listen to you if you have something to say, But actual store managers they just want you to sell sell sell, so there bonus grows and still keep you from actually doing work and making money
Promotions should be based on experience and work ethic, not who's ass you can kiss

It doesn't compare, not even close

I really did love my job when I first started, but after nine months you can only make money and commission if you suck up to managers and kiss ass
Can make the best of it and get pay incentives (though not on par with industry average) store locations make a diffrence as management is diffrent all locations.
Corporate and upper management does not value employees. Promotions r not based on skill, but rather how your liked. Service manager/assistant store manager are interchangeable titles with no real authority.

They hire with little experience so no prep needed
Employee value and incentives need improving

Pay at Mavis is below the industry standard, along with the bonus/commission pay.
Is a diverse environment
Helping customers who need jt when able to
None.
Low pay, long hours, no employee appreciation, no raises, no help or proper training, terrible office moral.
None.
Open your eyes! Your employees are unhappy, its causing your business to loose money by training too many new hires that walk out the door in 1-3 months. Listen to your emoployees, dont trust your fellow "leaders" that are supposed to be in those seats to help the company.
LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES! THEY WANT TO HELP BENEFIT THE COMPANY!
Its a joke.. anyone gets hired
Terrible, god aweful
they favor certain people based on the jokes they tell
nothing... i sit miserable on my non-paid 30-min lunch
There is nothing good about working for mavis
Bad pay, slave drivers, corporate irresponsibility.
There are no benefits or perks at mavis. They work you like a slave allowing you the bare minimum breaks, and analyze every detail and reprimanding you for anything but perfection. If you are a robot, this is the perfect job for you.
Nothing at all. It is a shame how they treat employees.
Treat employees better. Clean the workspace. Pay employees for the incredibly high sales they earn the company.
Act like a robot, do whatever they say.
It is absolutely horrible. The commission is less than .5 percent
The diversity is good, but they’ll hire basically anyone who can act like a robot
Leaving is the best part of your day. Also, rushing through your sandwich during the very brief 30 minute lunch break. Using the only other 15 minute break to go to the bathroom is well deserved as well.

Deal with customers and helping the get tires and whatever they need done to there car for a great price
It doesn't matter how management treats you if you go to any of the higher ups you get ignored or you get told it's your fault and you're the one doing something wrong. Working with the guys in the shop the last order worked at they didn't care how they talk to management they had employees that came to work whenever they wanted no write-ups nothing. I was having an issue with some of the guys in the back at work one day and I contacted my store manager and no response and I contacted my regional manager still with no response. They don't care about their employees
The insurance
Nothing
Everything. I worked for the inbound sales center and the manager Tony Lunario is the biggest jerk going. He has no compassion for his employees or what issues they are facing. He is a heartless person. He told HR I was terminated when in all actuality I quit. When I could have started my new job a week and a half sooner I did the right thing and gave notice. Because I was out sick 2 out of the last 5 days of my time there he had the audacity to put in my employee file that I was terminated.
Nothing
Not many
Corporate does not care about it's individual employees. Impossible to get your sick time when you earn it. Very low morale in the shop, all around miserable place to work.
Nothing. I wouldn't recommend working here to anyone.
None
They don't give service members or veterans discounts. No deals and along with warranties you keep paying.
The management look after their employees and the staffs are friendly
The environment is unkept
