New budgeted research role Job Summary Summary The Dhand Lab is seeking candidates for a Paid Student Research Position. This will be a minimum of 10 hours/week. This position is supported by a R01 grant to study a novel wearable to detect social interactions after stroke called SocialBit, or the Time Is Brain study, also supported by an R01 grant. Ideally, this will be a 6 month co-op followed by a part-time employment offer contingent on availability and performance. The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student in health sciences, social science, public health or computer science. The responsibilities will be to code social interactions during hospitalization and inpatient rehabilitation after stroke and analyze data. The student will also learn about post-stroke care, social determinants of health, and network science. Opportunities will include authorship, mentorship on grant and fellowship applications, working at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School on a multidisciplinary team, and involvement in additional projects. This position will also require periodic travel to 'off-site' locations in Cambridge (Partners Healthcare Office) and Spaulding Rehab Center.
