Graduate internship job at Mayo Clinic
The primary purpose of the Graduate Internship is to provide an intern with relevant field experiences in their chosen field of study. One or more mentors will be assigned to the intern to provide instruction, guidance and to assess performance. The intern is responsible for observing the functions and processes of the assigned work unit. In addition, the intern may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience, to assess the performance levels and to provide benefit to the work unit. The intern will be responsible for completing all internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo and the participating educational facility. The duration and timing of the internship will be arranged with the intern.
In addition, Biomedical Ethics interns will participate in a biomedical ethics summer curriculum, which includes educational sessions on bioethics research methods and lunch meetings with members of the program faculty.
Top applicants will be invited to participate in a brief phone interview to discuss specific skills and areas of interest. Final decisions will be made in part based on applicants' interests and availability of appropriate mentors.

Is a supportive participant in the patient care team. **Qualifications** Completion of two semesters in an Associate's in Nursing program, or completion of junior year in a Bachelor in Nursing program required prior to start. The Summer III Student Nurse Internship is a skill based paid 10-week full time program, providing opportunities to gain valuable clinical skills and experience. Rochester, MN campus has over 60 specialties, two hospitals, 10 ICUs, and around 130 operating rooms. Summary
The Dhand Lab is seeking candidates for a Paid Student Research Position. This will be a minimum of 10 hours/week. This position is supported by a R01 grant to study a novel wearable to detect social interactions after stroke called SocialBit, or the Time Is Brain study, also supported by an R01 grant. Ideally, this will be a 6 month co-op followed by a part-time employment offer contingent on availability and performance.
The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student in health sciences, social science, public health or computer science. The responsibilities will be to code social interactions during hospitalization and inpatient rehabilitation after stroke and analyze data. The student will also learn about post-stroke care, social determinants of health, and network science.
Opportunities will include authorship, mentorship on grant and fellowship applications, working at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School on a multidisciplinary team, and involvement in additional projects. This position will also require periodic travel to 'off-site' locations in Cambridge (Partners Healthcare Office) and Spaulding Rehab Center. Each is accessible by the free Mass General Brigham shuttle system.

The Student Nurse Intern (SNI) performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care with the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The designated tasks are those which have been taught in the academic programs and/or orientation, and where the individual has demonstrated competence to a designated RN.
Completion of two semesters in an Associate's in Nursing program, or completion of junior year in a Bachelor's in Nursing program, required prior to start. Must not have graduated from the Nursing program. Candidates must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
Enrollment in MN summer internship course required prior to start. More information will be provided at time of offer.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required prior to start.
