A strong desire to be engaged in the education of residents and fellows is required and the desire to advance additional academic interests preferred. In order to help provide flexibility and support work-life balance, our practice employs a hybrid work environment with a mixture of onsite and teleradiology (from home within the Phoenix metro area) shifts. However, all of our cardiothoracic radiologists rotate through on campus shifts throughout the week, so individuals only interested in a teleradiology position should not apply. Dedicated academic time tied to academic productivity is available and encouraged.
