As a tablet PC university, Mayville's courses are conducted through class presentations. Paper has been eliminated in the classroom, as students hand in assignments electronically. The tablet PC technology also allows teachers to interact with students by using in-tandem editing and grading, making sure students are always up to date on class work. Academics at the school range from programs in Business to Education to Health and Physical Education to the Liberal Arts. All courses utilize up-to-date technology and feature small class sizes. Admissions are open and conducted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Tuition is set lower for North Dakota residents. Students who complete a FAFSA will be considered to receive financial aid. In addition to federal Pell grants, SEO grants, PLUS loans and work-study programs, the school offers scholarships to qualifying students.
