We are looking for the next generation of problem solvers to drive change within McCormick. Are you up for the challenge? Pay Range: $20 -$22 PLEASE NOTE : Candidates who require visa sponsorship for employment now or in the future will not be considered for this position. Position Overview This internship will start as early as June 2026 and will run up to 4 months. Consideration will be made for shorter assignments dependent on availability, skills and interest. A minimum of 40 hours per week and availability of 5 days is required. Normal hours of work will be between 8:00 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Projects must be managed to meet agreed upon objectives and deadlines. Schedule accommodations will be made for the right candidate. This is a paid internship having a scaled hourly rate, dependent on experience. Key Responsibilities * Assist with analytical development and testing, including sample preparation, data acquisition & analysis and written reporting. * Conduct an independent research project in an area of agreed upon mutual interest - proposal, execution and written and oral presentation at conclusion of internship. * Work directly with internal analytical teams providing hands-on assistance and project guidance. * Collaborate with other analytical scientists and technologists to deliver ad hoc project results in a timely manner. Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, show strong self-motivation and initiative * Present final report on work completed during the intern period. * Assist in gathering relevant data from various sources. * Manage his/her tasks and assignments efficiently to meet deadlines. Required Qualifications: * Enrollment as an undergraduate college Sophomore, Junior, Senior or graduate student in a relevant program for the 2024-2025 academic year * Enrollment as an Analytical Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, Organic Chemistry, or Natural Product Chemistry major for the 2024-2025 academic year * Grade point average overall minimum of 3.0/4.0 and 3.25 within major * Working in chemistry lab * Communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured and organized manner. * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. We need a full stack developer who's comfortable building, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs for enterprise solutions. Our current service tier is a blend of Python microservices and Lambdas deployed within AWS. We also build dashboard applications and monitoring tools using Angular web components. As a full-stack developer you'd be working alongside our current development team that features other full-stack developers as well as back-end developers and media workflow specialists. Qualifications Interns must be currently enrolled as students at an accredited institution, which may include trade schools, community/junior colleges, or undergraduate or graduate programs Background in music/live entertainment or demonstrated interest in the industry. Strong self-awareness, time management, and organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines. Understanding of music, pop culture and entertainment. Positive attitude with a genuine interest in hosting and building professional relationships. Excellent written, verbal, and presentational communication with strong attention to detail and design. Strategic and critical thinker who is forward-thinking, analytical, and extremely well organized. Professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive event information.
