Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role involves managing all aspects of a project lifecycle, including resource allocation, scheduling, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality deliverables. This role also requires a focus on fostering positive client relationships, tracking project performance, and continuously improving project management processes to align with organizational goals. A Project Manager may be responsible for the oversight and management of other Project Management staff.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project goals, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Efficiently manage Accounts Receivable by implementing proactive strategies to monitor outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong client relationships to optimize cash flow and minimize delinquencies
Review Billing Review Reports (BRRs) from accounting ensuring accuracy, alignment with project scope, and timely communication with stakeholders for any clarifications or adjustments needed
Develop compelling project proposals, leveraging industry insights and client needs to create persuasive content that effectively communicates project value and aligns with organizational objectives
Foster effective partnerships with corporate services including Accounting, Admin Services, and HR among others, to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency
Cultivate long-term relationships with past and current clients to secure repeat business while effectively cross-selling services across departments, maximizing opportunities for collaboration and growth
Proactively pursue and cultivate a comprehensive knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements, applying insights to enhance project outcomes and drive competitive advantage
Occasionally undertake production work to support project timelines and deliverables, ensuring hands-on involvement in design and planning processes while balancing leadership responsibilities
Lead and mentor project teams by fostering a collaborative environment, providing guidance, and motivating team members to achieve project objectives and enhance overall performance

Skills + Experience
Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited program in Landscape Architecture, City/Community/Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or related field required
Possess licensure/certification (RLA or AICP)
Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in planning, design, or a related field
Maintain proficiency with essential technologies and software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.
Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills and interpersonal expertise to effectively present complex materials to clients, project teams, stakeholders, and the general public, fostering clear understanding and engagement across all audiences

Essential Functions + Responsibilities
Perform SUE/utility locating on a variety of type projects
Learn about different utility systems and how each works and is installed

Key Responsibilities

Position Overview
The role will be responsible for completing geomorphic assessment field work, developing stream and wetland designs, and preparing plans and reports, construction observation, and post-construction monitoring for public and private stream restoration projects. The role acts as a liaison between Project Managers and less experienced design staff. Success in this position is associated with near autonomy while maintaining a high quality of work, minimal review and revisions required by senior staff in addition to supporting less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
Exhibits good communication and time management skills; completes tasks efficiently; and able to train less experienced staff in their Key Responsibilities.
Efficiently use AutoCAD Civil 3D and have mastered available CAD tools and commands; correct application of design and CAD standards
Set up and manage AutoCAD and GIS basefiles with accurate representation and organization of existing and proposed data.
Develop Civil 3D alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces and grading tools efficiently and correctly
Independently layout Erosion Control measures and develop plans per local and State standards efficiently and with minimal revisions required.
Develop design and layout of stream restoration designs including grade control structures, bank protection measures, planting zones, etc. efficiently.
Produce plan sets (in AutoCAD) per jurisdiction and project purpose using Sheet Set Manager efficiently and with minimal revisions required.
Produce detail sheets and project notes per Local/State/Federal Standards efficiently and with minimal revisions required.
Produce set of plans including all necessary notes and construction sequences per company and local standards, and general understanding of project specifications efficiently and with minimal revisions required.
Review work and provide redline plans and design revisions consistent with team quality control expectations.
Use Rivermorph software or equivalent design spreadsheets to develop dimensionless design parameters efficiently;
Use ArcGISPro for exhibit development; geoprocessing various datasets; transfer shapefile data accurately both internally and externally
Produce hydrologic calculations using SCS Curve Number Method or other relevant methodologies for use in design and analysis of water resource projects
Produce technical memos and mitigation plans with minimal comments and redlines.
Ability to perform riverine flood analysis, FEMA map revisions, and demonstrate proficiency with HEC-RAS
Identify potential utility conflicts and impacts to proposed design and adjust design appropriately
Produce earthwork calculations and adjust grading as necessary to meet project goals efficiently and with minimal revisions required.
Be willing and able to lead field work as necessary for geofluvial data collection, construction observation, and monitoring activities
Skills + Experience
Four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field
3-6 years of experience in stream restoration or related water resources experience
Rosgen or equivalent stream restoration training (preferred)
