Coordinates the bid invitation and subcontractor communication process utilizing bid invitation software.
Coordinates and completes estimate deliverables.
Subcontractor Coordination
Assists with subcontract production as needed.
Maintains subcontractor databases, updating subcontractor information as required.
Assists staff in the development of project specific subcontractor lists.
Assists subcontractors with the filing of prequalification documents for Tier 1 approvals.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-5 years of experience of administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in construction estimating or preparation of construction bid proposals helpful but not required.
Must be proficient in the use of MS suite of products, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of estimating software, such as WinEst or OST is helpful but not required.
Ability to deal with multiple and competing priorities while paying close attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external clients/customers.

Position Description: Leads, directs and coordinates the work of subcontractors and/or Turner trade labor with regard to the Mechanical and Electrical systems included in the project. Responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project. The Superintendent Mechanical-Electrical has supervisory responsibility for Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns and trade labor in his/her area of responsibility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:
Specifically relating to the mechanical and/or electrical systems (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage, Fire Sprinkler):
* Managing and making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels.
* Managint work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation. Resolving local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule and all other appropriate matters.
* Managing the overall site safety program as required and ensuring subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
* Supervising and developing Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and/or interns, as assigned, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals.
* Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
* Creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. Developing and implementing recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
* Communicating with owners and architects/engineers in connection with field issues. Investigating and resolving such issues.
* Managing the billing process as it relates to work in place and overseeing the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices and subcontractor payment applications.
* Managing the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.
* Working with the Engineer on the coordination effort for all mechanical and electrical systems, equipment and piping layouts for all trades on a master coordination set of drawings and 3D model securing the approval of the architects and engineers.
* Leading project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover and training process, and punchlist required for acceptance and handover of all the systems.
* Coordinating, directing, and monitoring the activities of subcontractors and suppliers, to insure conformance with plans, specifications, local and national codes.
* Reviewing project changes in conjunction with the Project Engineer.
* Keeping detailed daily records of MEPS trade contractors' work progress.
* Participating in preconstruction efforts (e.g. constructability, logistics).
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $140,000.00 - 195,000.00 annualized, which represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:
* Coordinate with the Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
* Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with the needs of various projects.
* Support Superintendent throughout the duration of the job.
* Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on task and that Required On Job (ROJ) dates are provided to the project management team.
* Document project field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule, and provide to the project management team.
* Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule.
* Provide oversight for the Superintendent/Foreman for the development and maintenance of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
* Provide guidance in implementation of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
* Identify projects with Self-Perform opportunities and assist in the development of the Self-Perform proposal.
* Manage Self-Perform performance.
* Work in concert with Business Unit Safety Director to implement the BU Safety Program.
* Manage Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) progress for field trades people.
* Maintain a progression/succession plan for all high-potential tradesmen in conjunction with the Operations Manager (OM).
* Manage training for tradesmen.
* Support Business Development, Estimating and the Project Executives (PX's) with development of operational plans for all pursuits.
* Support the Project Executive, Project Superintendent and Project Manager to support development of logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project activities.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $190,000.00 - 265,000.00 annualized, which represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of ten years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Proven written and verbal communications abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, SAP, SharePoint, etc. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather and risk of electric shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
