This role participates in all aspects of the bid/estimating process from review of plans/specs to soliciting and negotiating prices from contractors/suppliers through completion of bid/estimating effort, including closeout. The estimator will perform quantity take-offs, pricing, scoping and bidding of industrial-scale construction projects. Estimators will work primarily on negotiated commercial projects within our core markets: healthcare, advanced technology, higher education, life sciences and corporate office. Senior estimators will work closely with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors and are required to have the following skills: Handling the project from first estimate all the way through subcontracts being formalized. Compensation Range $95,100.00 - $120,400.00 Annual Salary Overall planning and management of estimating activities for specific construction projects, including preparation, interpretation and presentation of estimates.
