McClure history

Cheap, portable black-and-white TV sets were all the rage, and non-stick frying pans began showing up in kitchens across America. It was 1956 when Jon McClure and Don Culver began building our firm.

Mike Trotter started his career with McClure in 1966.

Bill McClure, Sr. runs McClure Company until 1974.

Dick moved to Florida in 1982 and has been operating the real estate development, brokerage, and management company since.

McClure opened its doors in the Des Moines Metro Area in 1986.

Dennis joined the team in 2012 and has been involved in the innovative growth of McClure.

Dan has been an invaluable leader within McClure since 2014.

Jenna has been part of the McClure team since 2016, beginning as an intern and now leading McClure’s Marketing & Communications team as Director of Marketing, Engagement, and Communications.

Whalen expects sales to climb to $200 million in 2019.
