A Brief Summary of This Position
This is an individual contributor position responsible for preparing products and materials for the galvanizing process by hanging angle on spreader bars, staging tubular products, and preparing small parts for galvanizing. The Material Handler will also be responsible for inspecting and identifying production fixtures, chains, and hooks to ensure proper repair or discarding of unsafe items. Incumbent will also hand wire small to medium sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing, pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking, and move pieces of steel by hand from different locations in the plant and yard. The Material Handler also performs paddling functions to enhance the quality level of the various galvanized products using air guns to blow off zinc needles. Additional duties include using air or electric powered tools to help prepare steel for pickling or galvanizing, assisting in general plant clean up and housekeeping, and working safely with the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Essential Functions:
Follow procedures and work instructions in a safe and efficient manner including: hanging angle on spreader bars, staging of tubular products (i.e. pipe,), and preparing various small parts for the galvanizing process to include custom products
Communicating potential problems with material to the Crew leader or Shift Supervisor before the material is galvanized
Inspect and identify production fixtures, chains, and hooks to ensure proper repair or discarding of unsafe items
Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking
Move pieces of steel up to 50 pounds by hand from different locations in the plant and yard
Perform paddling functions at the kettle, including the use of air guns
Operate air and electric powered tools on black and galvanized steel
Perform postoperative cleanup on all galvanized parts, including packaging and banding outgoing material
Operate forklift as needed
Assist in general plant clean up and housekeeping
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate
The ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
The ability to accurately read a tape measure
The ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
Six months of previous experience with hand tools and gauges including impact wrenches, air grinders, drills, taps, and mill gauges
The ability to communicate problems or needs to departmental supervision
The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner
The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
High awareness for safety
The ability to work 1-2 shifts of overtime per week

Duties and Responsibilities:
SCCs will work as part of the H2F Performance Team to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive, periodized education and services program integrated and synchronized with the BDE and Battalion (BN) training calendars. Success is determined by the ability of the BDE to perform its combat mission.
SCCs will perform services IAW the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) Scope of Practice.
SCCs will be embedded at the BDE level. Most work will be performed in a Military training environment (i.e. fitness centers/gyms, BDE or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, and at the SPRC).
SCCs will be required to observe BDE and below (i.e. BN, company, platoon, squad, team) specific training events (e.g., obstacle courses, combatives, training areas).
Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring all work performance aligns with H2F objectives.
SCCs may be embedded within H2F Performance Teams across BDEs at various Government installations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university; it is highly desired that the degree is in a related field.
Must possess a passing score from the Board of Certification (BOC) by the NSCA as a CSCS or by the CSCCA as a SCCC.
Have three years of relevant SCC work experience within the last five years. Relevant experience is defined as developing and executing task and environment specific functional injury control and health/well-being programs for groups of athletes or DoD/Department of Homeland Security/Department of Justice entities focused on a common sport or mission performance goal. Please note - Employment related to internships or graduate work for only up to one year is considered as relevant experience.
Have a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certification. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross emblem. Please note - Web-based classes do not meet required standards.
Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively with Soldiers and H2F staff.

A Brief Summary of This Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lifeguards need to maintain constant surveillance of the pool area, using proper scanning technique.
Lifeguards are prepared to be first responder to all medical emergencies in the building in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area.
Maintains accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the state health department code.
Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed. Continually checks the pool for hazardous conditions.
Lifeguards are to maintain a safe and clean aquatic deck area, including but not limited to picking up equipment after open swim use, picking up trash, cleaning the deck and other areas like, hallway and locker rooms at appropriate times.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 15 years old or older
• Integrity and ability to work independently with attention to detail required.
• Demonstrated leadership, dependability and flexibility in work hours.
• Afternoons, Evenings and/or weekends shifts.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Background checks will be performed.

Under limited supervision of a Nursing Director/Associate or Nurse Supervisor, provides professional nursing care for ill, injured, or disabled inmates. Provides clinical direction and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses and direct care staff, provides direct patient nursing care and treatment within the scope of licensure in a correctional setting. Performs patient care in a clinic or hospital setting. Administer medications, transcribe and carry out doctor's orders, assess patients utilizing protocols, triage. Assist in moving patients.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: A current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in assigning, reviewing, leading, or supervising the work of others.
Other: Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Will complete four to eight weeks of on the job training. Must submit to background security check. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical examination and a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services' Pre-service Training Program.
