Under the direction and supervision of the Department Production Manager and in cooperation with the Production Supervisor and Production Lead, weld metal components with welding equipment to fit and join, fabricate, and/or repair heavy and large mechanical products per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule.
Key Deliverables
Adhere to all safety rules and perform work at a quality level.
Read and understand assigned blueprints prior to starting a project.
Participate in process and product development and improvement programs.
Accurately inspect metal prior to welding to ensure clean welds.
Perform grinding operations that comply with set standards.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Ability to perform grinding and be able to pass a required welding skills test.
Necessary to be able to do all Grinder tasks.
Must be able to safely perform gang-welding techniques (dos and don'ts).
Must be able to safely weld vertically, flat, and overhead with both MiG and stick.
Must inspect metal prior to welding for smoothness and acceptability and clean welds to presentable state (grinding operations).
Must work with Fitters on proper assembly of equipment.
Keep work area clean and neat.
Clock in on assigned jobs as appropriate.
Ensure welding machine settings are appropriate for work to be performed.
Must be able to safely use cranes and forklifts.
Must be trained in and know PPE requirements for welding including hood and filter shades and arm/body protection.
Must be able to read and understand welding symbols.
Must maintain welding machines by keeping them clean and changing liners in the welding guns.
Follows company policies and procedures at all times.
Follows proper safety rules and procedures at all times.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

The Program Consultant supervises a diverse group of staff across three shifts to assure protection of resident rights is provided in a humane, home-like environment. The Program Consultant must be available for a varied work schedule which at times may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays. The Program Consultant is responsible for helping to coordinate and prioritizing the delivery of training and person-centered services with individuals living at PSH. This involves the integrations of various aspects of services to meet the individual requests, preferences and needs of each individual living in a designated unit. Accurate records must be maintained to assure the varied responsibilities of this position are met.
Daily contact with individuals receiving services, adult training staff, cottage, professional, ancillary and administrative staff for program planning and implementation. Routine contact with community members & businesses for networking, promotion and development of programs on behalf of facility and individuals receiving services, planning and implementation. Occasional contact with legislators for information tours and contact with parents/guardians for developing/implementing training for individuals.
Develops training and development programs via the use of a variety of methods including lecture, modeling, and visual aids. Writes educational training programs for individuals. Observes and gives feedback to adult service staff while they train and support the individuals.
Must follow basic policy or protection from harm procedures for Individuals and staff safety. Follows standard safety procedures by the manufacturers of equipment.
Minimum Qualifications: One year experience developing and delivering training programs and materials. Two years' experience leading or supervising a cottage of living unit for individuals with Developmental disabilities.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in developmental disabilities, mental disabilities, and dual diagnosis; adult education teaching skills, and strategies; person-centered planning and supports model; issues relevant to supporting/teaching individuals with handicapping conditions; regulatory guidelines and laws relevant to ICF/IDD regulations issues involving individuals with handicapping conditions. Experience following DOL guidelines and regulations regarding employment. Experience with payroll services.
Staff who operate a motor vehicle must possess a valid Kansas driver's license.

This position will work with other production team members in an assigned production area, with goals to meet production schedules in accordance within quality, cost, delivery, technical and safety standards. Provide service coordination to families and facilitate parents providing developmentally appropriate learning activities for their children through weekly home visits as outline in the Early Start Performance Standards.
Essential Functions:
Ensure completion of home visits in the absence of assigned family educators.
Assist Home-Based management staff with various tasks when not covering caseloads.
Identify, refer to, and work cooperatively with local community agencies and providers to ensure comprehensive services to meet the family needs.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood or field related degree with Early Childhood Emphasis preferred, State certification in Early Childhood, or CDA credential or obtain CDA after six months of employment.

Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days

Pittsburg State University is accepting applications for a Functional Analyst in the department of Information Technology Services that is responsible for serving as the primary lead and subject matter expert for the technical maintenance and continuous improvement of the GUS Cloud modules and other software programs for the Business, Cashiers, Purchasing, and Budget Offices. This position is responsible for writing reports, facilitating updates and upgrade testing, managing roles, technical trouble shooting, help-desk ticket management, and coordinating with other related system users across campus. This position assists other subject matter experts in conducting operational and process analysis to develop well-tested recommendations and solutions. The position will focus primarily on GUS Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Procurement, but will be expected to have a working knowledge of the other GUS Cloud modules, as well as other software utilized by the departments represented (i.e. Cashiering Systems, Ticketing Systems, etc.) to coordinate activities with other subject matter experts across campus.
