Job Description:
McDonald's has a current exciting opening within the USRD team for a Director of Design (Standards and Brand Review). The role will report into the Sr. Director of the function.
Several of the responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Integration of a comprehensive customer journey into restaurant design (site building, dining rooms, and back of the house)
Collaborating with designers and US Ops to assure successful development of US modern programs (New and Reinvestment)
Develop US Design Standards for New and Reinvestment Development
Piloting & Driving specific US Market design solutions
Collaborate with Global Design and other key customers in the continual modernization of the US market
In the role of Director on Design (Standards & Brand Review), you will contribute to setting the short-term strategy for your function and implement long-term strategies for the function. This individual will make decisions and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple teams within USRD. While leading a team, you will communicate the long-term operational tactical and strategic implications while managing internal and external customer partnerships. The Director will solve difficult problems impacting multiple teams while identifying ways to improve the current customer needs. The role will also include being held accountable for the direction of all budget and resource allocation decisions for major projects across USRD.

Major Modernization Program or Accelerated Development - engagement with multiple stakeholders
Degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management preferred

Engage with the US PMO, Product Owners, other MHQ Departments, Field partners, Suppliers/Vendors, the OTP Program and O/O's to design, prepare, communicate and implement onsite deployment activities across multiple hardware platforms, including POS, Digital Menu Boards, Network/Infrastructure, Headset Systems, and Kiosks.
Align with US Technology and US Business teams on sequencing, priorities, and dependencies for solution deployments.
Ability to provide the overall vision and structure in addition to running the daily project activities such as schedule, risk and issue management, communications, etc.

Position Purpose
Provides the geo-spatial analytic support for the Real Estate teams with regards to sales estimation, ad hoc analysis and mapping needs.
The primary customers are the National Real Estate Managers and Real Estate Leads in the field. The position will leverage block level population data summarized for software created trade area to determine quantified sales factors. The sales estimating data will be used in a number of estimating methods to determine a final estimate which will then be field validated.
This position provides the data collecting and analysis to determine appropriate estimating methods. This position will collaborate with the field teams to finalize sales estimates. This will also include estimates on sales transfer from closed stores and better relocation analysis.
The job requires knowledge of statistical methods and quantitative analysis using regression and other modeling. It requires a working knowledge of mapping software to provide ad hoc support to the field teams.

Gather data from internal and external sources in support of analyses

The Engineer II (Restaurant Systems Management, RSM, Platform) is part of the Restaurant Infrastructure & Operations Platform team within Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations (GTIO). This role reports to the Senior Technical Product Manager (RSM) and is responsible for engineering / development, integration with other Restaurant and Enterprise systems and setting patterns and direction for development. The Restaurant Systems Management platform includes tools, processes, and services related to restaurant device configuration and management, compliance, software installation and security patching.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonalds environment.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform platform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
Execute short-term strategy for the Restaurant Systems Management team
Play a pivotal role in the engineering and development of product features from beginning to end
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Perform assessments of RSM architecture and configurations against baseline; analyze performance to identify and develop system improvement opportunities
Contribute to the performance of the team; mentor more junior technical team members
Contribute to a prioritized engineering / development roadmap, sequenced to align with overall platform strategy and other internal stakeholders.
Provide guidance to platform architecture and key decisions.
Provide input into restaurant global standards to ensure consistency.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Solid Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager). Intune, Ansible, Jamf, or related Systems Management technologies.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code Implementations (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, AWS Cloud Formation)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with monitoring tools like Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, NewRelic, or SolarWinds
Experienced with Dashboards and Reporting
