Painter/Finisher

McElroy is currently looking for a Finisher/Painter. A successful McElroy painter sandblasts parts for painting purposes and then spray finishes, coats and or paints parts. They must be able to process parts to be coated using 2-part polyurethane DTM paint and bake out through the oven process, and inspect when completed to ensure quality standards are met.
The successful finisher/painter will have experience with electrostatic paint gun, a pressure pot, conventional gun, HVLP cup gun and a working knowledge on sandblasting. Our finisher/painters must also be able to interpret all prints, sketches and verbal descriptions.

McElroy Welders work at our Admiral facility where components are produced in a climate-controlled facility. Welders must have proven experience and success fit welding parts that adhere to schematics and blueprints. Welders use precision measuring equipment frequently to conduct meticulous first article inspection to ensure parts are as accurate as possible. They are able to read, interpret, and act on requirements and specifications of blueprints to layout parts on their weld tables. Welders may work with a variety of metals and will need to know the appropriate welding techniques utilizing processes such as MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore.
