Job Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN/RN for its Adult Medicine department in Ames. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Patient interaction in-person, on my chart and on the phones, rooming patients, vitals, medication refills, medication prior authorizations.
Education
Graduate from an accredited program for MedicalAssistants
Graduate of accredited school of nursingCertification/License
Certification from the American Association of MedicalAssistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered MedicalAssistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
Possession of a current State Registered Nurse license.
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Days: Monday - Friday with 1/2 day out
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience
Clinic experience preferred.
EMR experience preferred.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
