Job Description
The Manager, Human Resources is an onsite leadership role based in our 24/7 airport operational facilities that will lead a team of HR professionals focused on human resource operations. This role emphasizes employee and labor relations, ensuring that the organization adheres to employment laws, company policies and fostering a positive work culture for all. This working manager will be responsible for the handling and oversight of team member disputes, overseeing labor regulations and collaborating with leadership on strategic HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and resolve workplace challenges. This role may support multiple McGee Airport operational locations and may require short notice of travel and the ability to periodically work alternate schedules to support our 24/7 operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to team members and leadership, addressing concerns, grievances and conflicts in a fair and confidential manner.
Investigate and resolve workplace issues, including team member complaints and misconduct allegations, ensuring appropriate and timely resolutions in a fast pace, 24/7 operation.
Mediate team member disputes and facilitate communication between team members and management to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.
Develop and implement best in class practices and processes to promote effective team member relations to support a positive and welcoming work environment for all.
Develop and manage a strong partnership with labor union members and their leadership teams while upholding our responsibilities as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
Provide guidance on our labor contract, work closely with union representatives and oversee timely administration of the collective bargaining agreement.
Conduct labor relations training for leadership to foster productive relationships with our unionized team members

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR laws and regulations, partnering with the HR Compliance Team to implement changes necessary to stay compliant.

Positively and gracefully serves operations leaders by offering leadership coaching/mentoring.

Plays a role in shaping and maintaining the desired organizational culture. This involves fostering values, behaviors, and practices that reflects McGee Air Services core values.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field, or 8 years equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
7+ years of business facing HR, Employee Relations, HR Operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Ability to work with different types of workforces including salaried and hourly employees.
Labor Relations skills a plus
Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to leadership and HR team
Ability to work independently with strong multitasking capabilities required
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Flexible to support travel up to 20%

Inform passengers through all aspects of their experience with American Airlines by communicating appropriate information about their trips and belongings
Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure that they are entering or leaving their gate safely and on-time
Load, unload, sort, and appropriately transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials
Some of these items can weigh up to 75 lbs. Drive ground equipment such as tugs to help the plane push in/out of the gate, belt loaders to help load baggage, and bag carts to deliver baggage to the claim area or the connecting flight
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure
May clean the interior of the aircraft, clean and service aircraft lavatories, and/or work in the Baggage Service Office to track the location of baggage

Role Purpose

Job Description
The Manager, Station Training, will foster and support an inclusive, high-performance training operation. This role leads a team of training specialists in providing world-class training for a variety of roles within the ground handling umbrella, with a specific focus on Ramp Operations. The Training Team builds culture one learner at a time by facilitating classroom instruction and on-the-job training (OJT). The Manager Station Training coaches and guides trainers, team members, and emerging station leaders in developing the skills, knowledge and aptitudes necessary to meet operational standards with a safety mindset. This role is pivotal in ensuring new hires understand their role and expectations and are fully prepared to operate safely.
Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements and manages training programs, including enrollment processes, assessment, evaluation, scheduling, budget, and other related functions
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identify skill gaps and implement continuous improvement updates. Assess trainers' skills, performance and create improvement plans as necessary
Develop and deploy training best developed practices including trainer certifications, records management in the Learning Management System (LMS), tracking, and training guidelines required by industry partners
Lead and mentor a team of trainers and coaches ensuring consistency with training guidelines and policies
Ensure training is compliant with company policies and all regulations of federal, state and local airport authorities
Oversee the development of station-specific training as needed, working in close collaboration with the Training Content Specialists and Operational SMEs.

Qualifications

Job Description
The Operations Supervisor is a critical role in ensuring that McGee Air Services delivers best in class ground handling services. The operational supervisor is charged with monitoring the performance of the operation, supervising McGee Teammates, and building an environment where safety, team member engagement and operational performance are paramount.

Act as liaison between McGee Air Services and customers.
Represents McGee in briefings with customer Managers on Duty to plan for Irregular Operations, tows, extra flights, and other special situations.
Conduct investigations and collect required information on operational/safety metrics.
Assists in safety incidents as well as ensuring documented follow-ups, lessoned learned, mitigations and corrective action plans are documented, managed, and implemented.
Actively observes operation to identify areas of improvement in both safety, training, and operations.
Prepare and communicate various performance reports to team members and leadership, including shift reports, performance data, missed metric summaries/investigations, mitigation plans, safety incidents, equipment status, and staffing information
Monitor staffing during start times and coordinate, support, and communicate re-balancing of operational crews.
Perform required audits, investigations, and participates in/leads any disciplinary actions.
Evaluate individual and teamwork performance, coach, and counsel to support employee growth and operational performance, and document discussions and improvement plans.
Promote and maintain a culture of safety and mutual respect at all times.
Responsible for ensuring that equipment is available, maintained, and operated in a safe manner, to include daily inspections and removal from service when necessary

Qualifications
Two (2) years of airline experience with proven skills in station operations, including one of the following areas: passenger service, cargo handling, fleet service, and ground operations preferred
Highly self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to diffuse tense and/or stressful situations and workplace conflicts
Experience coaching and counseling team members on performance related issues preferred
Skilled in all aspects of aircraft servicing, loading, baggage and cargo handling
Self-motivated individual able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Able to lead, motivate, and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup
Proven ability to direct the work of others in a positive way

The Manager, Station Training, will foster and support an inclusive, high-performance training operation. This role leads a team of training specialists in providing world-class training for a variety of roles within the ground handling umbrella, with a specific focus on Ramp Operations. The Training Team builds culture one learner at a time by facilitating classroom instruction and on-the-job training (OJT). The Manager Station Training coaches and guides trainers, team members, and emerging station leaders in developing the skills, knowledge and aptitudes necessary to meet operational standards with a safety mindset. This role is pivotal in ensuring new hires understand their role and expectations and are fully prepared to operate safely.
Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements and manages training programs, including enrollment processes, assessment, evaluation, scheduling, budget, and other related functions
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identify skill gaps and implement continuous improvement updates. Assess trainers' skills, performance and create improvement plans as necessary
Develop and deploy training best developed practices including trainer certifications, records management in the Learning Management System (LMS), tracking, and training guidelines required by industry partners
