Job Description: Adolfson and Peterson is currently hiring for a Warehouse Technician. This role will provide materials, equipment, and supplies by directing, receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. Responsibilities: -Take personal responsibility for working safely within an incident and injury free culture. -Consistently communicate and reinforce the tenets of an IIF workplace. -Ensure adherence to processes and procedures that support an IIF culture. -Pick up and delivery of equipment and materials using vehicles with a 10,001+ GVW rating. -Assist in machine maintenance and equipment procurement processes. -Perform periodic maintenance on medium and large equipment. - Clean, repair, and service all equipment that returns to warehouse for future work. - Maintain, repair, and renovate office trailers as required. - Inspect equipment and issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements. - Direct salvage and disposal of damaged and used equipment. - Provide timely support to jobsite needs. - Work with jobsites to provide shelter needs and supplies, including weather protection materials and heating/cooling units. - Work with local oil and liquid disposal service companies to dispose of used oil and liquids. - Other duties as assigned. Job Description: The role of Laborer is to assist in moving and installing material for Carpenters, Operators, Masons, and other skilled trades in the daily process of construction. Comply with all company safety requirements and policies. Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards. Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel. Supply tools and materials to different areas of the work site as directed by the Foreman, Superintendent, or trades. Plan ahead, inventory, and request materials. Load and unload supplies and materials. Operate a pallet jack and a partner saw. Signal operators of equipment to facilitate movement of material. Routinely operate a bobcat and forklift for various material handling. Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work site on a daily basis. Assist with installing formwork and pouring concrete. Mix mortar and grout. Mop, brush, or spread compounds over surfaces for protection or to seal. Erect and dismantle scaffolding following company safety guidelines. Work at heights and climb form systems for pouring concrete while assisting Carpenters and other trades. Assist Carpenters, Operators, Masons, and other skilled labor as needed. Routinely construct and maintain temporary openings, protect construction finishes, daily interior and exterior cleaning, and debris removal. Communications & Relationship Management Draft and edit emails, announcements, presentations, and executive communications on behalf of the CEO. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. * Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on assigned areas of responsibility, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor, as needed. * Career Path: Senior Virtual Design Construction Specialist Key Role Responsibilities - Core VDC SPECIALIST FAMILY - CORE * Provides models and documents necessary to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams. * Assembles 3D content modeled by others and models any content not provided. * Learns and maintains a productive and efficient BIM process. * Creates and maintains clear and effective project documentation, such as meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs. * Support operations with the RFI process for BIM related items. * Maintains working relationships with subcontractors and project teams. * Assumes responsibility for learning the VDC processes and standards; applies them to assigned projects. * Reads and comprehends construction documents and project BIM requirements and applies them to VDC processes. * Provides models and documents necessary to complete scope determined by VDC leadership and project teams/internal clients. * Incorporates design updates into project models. * Analyzes construction documents and models, looking for errors and omissions, and makes corrections as necessary. * Supports operations with self-perform model management and layout. (Self Perform VDC Focused) Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core N/A Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner. * Communication skills, verbal and written. * Proficiency in MS Office. * Ability to set up and establish project specific VDC technology to support project delivery strategy. * Ability to read construction documents and specifications. * Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally. * Ability to learn and apply BIM technology solutions to overall VDC processes and application in the AEC industry. These include: * Autodesk BIM 360 Glue. * Autodesk Construction Cloud * Autodesk Design Collaboration * Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP). * Autodesk AutoCAD. * Autodesk Navisworks Manage (including JE Dunn clash spheres program). * Trimble's Sketch-Up. * Bluebeam. Education * Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred). * In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience * 0-2 years construction experience and/or summer internship/co-op experience in construction (Preferred). Working Environment * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds * Typically travel is not required * Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs * Normal office environment, but may be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold) * Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen * Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling Benefits Information Base compensation for the VDC Specialist role in Minneapolis between $66,897 and $83,721, depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive a target bonus based on both individual and company performance.
