“A Day in the Life”
As a General Construction Modular Mechanic you will be responsible for general maintenance, general construction, remodeling work and preparation of buildings for delivery to customer sites.
“What You'll Do”
Installation of structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware using hand or power tools per plan, drawings and to current relevant building code
Perform maintenance service, repairs and construction in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical.
Perform construction work related to remodeling or modifying modular buildings
Demolish, replace or construct walls, including framing, drywall and other finish-out functions
Light electrical work; changing bulbs, rewiring or adjusting wiring within a frame or wiring for new connections, switches and outlets
Light plumbing work; removing, remodeling or installing new plumbing pipes and fixtures
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements as noted on building plans or reasonably implied
Participate in and practice 5S and LEAN in the plan

Maintain Forklift In and Out Logs and other inventory reports and move inventory with forklift.
Yard organization for containers by size, state of repair
Light welding and electrical experience, rewiring, switches and outlets; use of power washer and other power tools, general maintenance skills rust remediation; including strong carpentry and painting skills
Manage the preparation and availability of all container inventory at the yard.
Inspect, repair and maintain sufficient quantities of all container types.
Perform basic AC service for office and combo units including filter changes, thermostat replacements and coil cleaning.
Organize and ensure we have proper building materials inventory levels for container repair.
Able to work outside in variable weather conditions including high temperature summer months.

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Marine Preservation & Decking Technician to support U.S. Navy ship maintenance and repair projects, including aircraft carriers. **Responsibilities** + Perform paint and coating removal using mechanical and chemical methods.
+ Prepare surfaces for preservation, including cleaning, sanding, and blasting.
+ Apply primers, sealants, and protective coatings as required.
+ Install and repair thermal and acoustic insulation (lagging) on piping, bulkheads, and machinery, ensuring compliance with fire-retardant and safety specifications.
