In your future role as a Maintenance E&I Technician, you will: * Perform routine and emergency maintenance on analog, digital, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation and control systems * Conduct inspections, testing, calibration, and servicing of process instrumentation * Troubleshoot and repair motor control circuits, power and lighting systems (120V, 277V, 480V), and medium voltage (12.47kV) systems * Maintain and repair test instruments for electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems * Use and interpret diagrams, schematics, and drawings for installation and troubleshooting * Provide on-call coverage and overtime support as needed to meet plant operational requirements * Operate and maintain substation equipment, voltage detection tools, and other electrical systems * Accurately document work in SAP and other computer systems (Word, Excel, etc.) * Participate in training, safety programs, and meetings as required * Ensure all work is performed safely, in compliance with site procedures and life-saving rules * Maintain equipment and tools in proper working order * Wear a full-face respirator or SCBA as required for specific maintenance tasks We believe you bring: * High School diploma or equivalent * Completion of an accredited trade school program or apprenticeship in a related field is preferred * Minimum 3 years as an Instrument/Electrical Technician in a chemical plant or similar industrial environment * Strong foundation in electrical and electronic theory * Skilled in analog and digital system fault diagnostics * Understanding of scientific instrument construction and operation * Experience with confined space, line break, hot work, and working at heights * Familiarity with safety programs, permit-to-work systems, and LOTOTO procedures * Ability to operate personal computers for work order management, part requisitions, and reporting * Demonstrated commitment to HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) standards * Must be able to wear protective equipment and work in varying conditions Good to know: * This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor in Axis, AL. * This is an on-site position located at our facility in Axis, AL. * You must be able to obtain Crane CIC Operator Certification * Training in process safety, specific equipment procedures, and computer systems/software will be provided * May require working extended hours or on-call shifts based on operational needs Please apply via our online recruitment system.
