Job Scope
Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations to plan and schedule maintenance work.
In summary, as the Maintenance Scheduler/Planner, you will:
Develop a multiweek maintenance schedule and maintain daily. Coordinate directly with Maintenance Planners, Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering in order to maintain a prioritized maintenance Schedule to increase the efficiency of the maintenance department and ensure all PM and repair work is scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Lead weekly schedule meetings with site internal customers in order to align priority of task and level schedule workloads for maintenance resources.
Track and measure forecasting and scheduling outcomes, plus feedback from the customers to identify problems or inefficiencies and improve the forecasting and scheduling process.
Identify PM plans and repair work that require a site shutdown and develop and maintain a shutdown list with priority. Coordinate with Maintenance Planners, Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering to effectively plan and schedule shutdown work. Work with outside resources and purchasing to ensure that the right external resources are planned and scheduled for site shutdown/Turn a rounds. Manage shutdown schedule, meetings and growth before, during and after Shutdown.
Manage Purchase Orders for planned/scheduled/PM work orders. Perform Goods Received. Manage notifications and work orders for scheduling of site requested work. Approve invoices for in-house contractors and enter labor for maintenance in-house contractors in SAP.
Fully support the site MI program by prioritizing inspections in the maintenance schedule, and helping to facilitate inspections as needed. Ensure that recommendations from inspections are added to the schedule for completion in a timely manner
Promptly report any safety issues or delays that may arise to internal customers and management when work is being scheduled.
Site Master Data Resource for SAP. Work with the site MI Engineer to perform functions such as Create, Manage and change equipment and PM plans in SAP. Work to develop a multiweek schedule in SAP. Manage Notifications and work orders. Work with site reliability engineer to update and maintain equipment information and PM plans.
Maintenance Department Document Controller. Manage Maintenance and reliability Procedures and Guidelines in QT9. Print and issue scheduled and unscheduled PM work orders to maintenance supervision and/or maintenance technicians. Assign time/cost/labor, close and file completed work orders. Input data from completed work orders into SAP and update Schedule including hours worked, description of work performed and status of work.
Manage and maintain the equipment MRO spare parts list. Review and manage the right sizing of spare parts inventory based on lead time, business impact, consumption and frequency. Ensure that spare parts needed for work/jobs are ordered in a timely manner, and the delivery lead times of spare parts is consistent with the priority of work needing to be performed.
Other general responsibilities:
Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Provides support and mentoring to maintenance planners.
Fills in for Maintenance Supervisor/Planners as needed.
Participates in the Maintenance duty roster.
Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
