Over 35 years experience in systems engineering, acquisition and program management, and organizational leadership. Started as a Naval Officer at sea and then evolved to Naval engineering duty. After leaving the service, filled a sequence of engineering and acquisition positions that developed a strong understanding of defense systems technology, and honed skills at technical leadership, large-scale organizational leadership, business development and program management. Experience was extensive in the public sector, having completed government service with over 7 years as the Executive Director of the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in San Diego. After transition from governmental service, spent 2.5 years with SOLUTE, Inc. as COO and VP for Strategic Development. Currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for McKean Defense. In this role, responsible for implementing the strategy to increase the application of McKean’s technology solutions with current and strategic customers.
