The Senior Learning & Development Specialist works with the Learning & Development Manager, CHRO, and stakeholders from the business units to identify training programs and needs of the organization. Responsibilities will include the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs; conduct needs assessments, execute training, and evaluate outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the organizational needs.
· Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
· Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development, and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies.
· Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all training programs.
· Suggest and help implement new methods of data collection to monitor and measure corporate training.
· Manage all training within the LMS system.
· Oversee the collection of necessary information for the GA Tax Credit from third-party vendors, and propose initiatives to increase tax return year over year.
· Identify the organization's critical issues through the analysis of relevant data; make recommendations; implement solutions or programs; manage changes; and evaluate and provide feedback.
· Serve as an advisor and technical expert regarding program design, processes, and system improvements.
· Partner with senior leaders to drive successful career development and onboarding processes and to help determine the best learning opportunities and to help deliver results for the organization, teams, and individuals company-wide.
· Partner with senior leaders to design and develop career paths within their departments.
· Mentor the other L&D team members.
· Manage relationships with external training vendors and evaluate vendor effectiveness.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree
· At least 6 years of experience as a training
professional
· At least 6 years of experience in curriculum
development

Designer shall work in a team environment and under the directive of a lead Designer to develop accurate, constructible, coordinated, and timely Mechanical system models meeting McKenney's drafting standards and fully coordinated with the architectural & structural elements of the building and the other building trades (sprinkler, ductwork, piping, etc.). • Utilize McKenney's CAD standards to create models consistent with company and project requirements.
• Accurately model systems in compliance with project plans, project specifications, and code requirements for the purposes of producing fabrication documents (spool sheets and drawings) from the model.
• Coordinate all systems with ductwork, mechanical equipment, other trades, and architectural and structural elements of the building.
• Coordinate all work to provide safe and adequate access in accordance with manufacturer and code clearances to avoid installation conflicts in the field.
• Utilize the fabrication team to provide annotated, dimensioned shop drawings, spool assemblies, and spool drawings.
• Review and distribute fabrication information including assembly sheets, bills of material, and spool drawings to project managers and field leaders.
• Effectively and proactively communicate with project managers, project engineers, and field foremen during the design, coordination, and construction process. This includes communication of challenges and schedule progress on a timely basis (weekly at a minimum).
• Use Company tools to manage requests for information and shop drawing progress.
• Communicate areas of deficiency/gaps along with proposed solutions (RFI's) on projects to support timely completion of work.
• Produce all documents on time and within budget (estimated drafting hours) in a timely manner based on job requirements to meet commitments to our customers, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities
Welding and Fabrication
Perform Welding Operations: Execute various welding techniques, including but not limited to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/Stick), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
Material Expertise: Weld a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys, using appropriate procedures and filler metals.
Component Assembly: Fit, tack, and weld complex assemblies (e.g., pipe spools, equipment skids, structural frames) according to detailed specifications and dimensions.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, welding symbols, and written specifications to determine the proper layout and welding requirements.
Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, deburring, and positioning components using manual and automated tools (e.g., plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, grinders, pipe bevelers).
Quality and Safety
Quality Control: Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards, tolerance requirements, and code specifications (e.g., penetration, bead size, structural integrity).
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper handling of hazardous materials and hot work
Troubleshooting: Identify and correct welding defects (e.g., porosity, undercut, lack of fusion) and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Operations
Productivity: Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency while ensuring the quality of work is not compromised.
Documentation: Complete required production logs, and time sheets accurately.
Collaboration: Work effectively with fitters, fabricators, and the shop management team to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of an accredited welding or fabrication vocational program is highly preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in production welding, preferably in mechanical systems, industrial piping, or structural fabrication.
Skills and Certifications
Welding Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality welds in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
Certifications: Current or ability to pass welding qualification tests in relevant procedures (e.g., ASME Section IX for pipe, AWS D1.1 for structural steel). Experience with 6G pipe welding is a significant asset.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading standard fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Math Skills: Strong basic mathematical skills necessary for measurement, calculation of material requirements, and layout.
Tool Usage: Expertise in operating standard shop tools, measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, squares), and material handling equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts - certification preferred).

Ability to stand, walk, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):
High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.

Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
