Decent money (but should be more and the pay increases are always very, very little) Benefits are O.K.
Lot of "cons". Absolutely ZERO accountability !!!!!!! People do what they want, when they want and there are never, ever any consequences. Equipment is antique looking. We always heard that McLane was a "debt free company" and when we bought equipment in the past we were told that McLane paid "cash". Our equipment looks like "Sanford and Son" equipment. They will keep a driver no matter how bad they are, no matter how much equipment they tear up, no matter how many days they miss. etc.....
Vacation time.........
I have no idea. I've never met, seen or ever heard from anyone at corporate. I do know that McLane has been on a downhill slide for quite a few years. However, it seemed to go into "high gear" when we lost our original CEO and the new one took over.
There are SO MANY things that need to be improved. McLane has literally lost their "way". It's really sad. Moral (if there is any) is so extremely low it's pathetic.
I didn't have to. I know my work ethic, I'm a hard worker, and I knew I would be held accountable. That isn't the case anymore however.
