Description of the Position:
The primary responsibility of the housekeeping staff is to clean and maintain the hotel rooms in a timely manner, ensuring that the guest rooms are clean and pleasant. The housekeeping duties include but are not limited to; daily preparation of rooms, changing linens on the bed, upkeep of linen closets, cleaning of toilets, sinks, showers, changing linens and cleaning floors. Housekeepers may be asked to help the maintenance (janitorial) staff when needed, provide support to the front desk as needed, assist guests in any manner possible (getting ironing boards, cribs, etc.), and answer questions of all sorts. This job plays a large role in giving the guests a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. Housekeepers will be responsible and held accountable for the finished rooms, cleaning projects, as well as knowledge of company policies and procedures as they relate to housekeeping. Housekeepers must also provide excellent customer service to hotel guests and customers as necessary. Description of the Position:
The AAM is an entry-level management position. This position will be expected to be able to perform the responsibilities of each other non-management positions and perform all opening and closing duties of the Pub. The AAM will often act as the host and will oversee the smooth and effective running of the pub in general. Other duties include working outside on a seasonal basis as well as indoors, and most importantly maintaining and providing excellent customer relations with all customers. The tasks needed to achieve this will include; hand weeding, watering, planting, transplanting, mulching, edging garden beds, pruning, shearing, dead heading herbaceous and woody plants, cultivation and grooming in the assigned gardens, staking, fertilizing, soil care, clearing debris, detection and treatment of pests and diseases affecting plants, weed control, keeping hard surfaces areas (patios, walkways, curbing, stairways, stairwells, parking lots) dean of debris, daily monitoring gardens for possible damage in the landscape and making necessary repairs or prevention, removing garbage from garden beds. This position requires knowledge of all phases of plant cultural care, with performing the appropriate tasks throughout the seasons.
Sub-divisional duties within the garden departments operations may include propagation of plants from the property, seed propagation, greenhouse production and maintenance, nursery production and maintenance, seasonal decor and floristry, crafting gifts of a plant nature for plant sales, assisting customers at plant sales, assisting in vegetable garden maintenance, harvest, and production, processing plant product for multi-department use. The Gardener/Horticulturist may be required to operate small equipment including but not limited to a string trimmer, edger, lawn mower, leaf blower, small tractor, ride-on equipment, and hand power tools for minor construction and repairs. The position may require small irrigation repairs and lawn care.
This position necessitates prolonged physical work, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive tasks, and exposure to outdoor conditions throughout the year.

Description of the Position:
The primary responsibility of KAAM is to help oversee all kitchen operations under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager, Kitchen AM (and Pub Manager when applicable). Duties include, but are not limited to; overseeing, training, and supervising other cooks on duty; adhering to and enforcing portioning guidelines; consistent communication with head management; enforcing and adhering to McMenamins policies and procedures; ensuring food is expedited in a timely manner; and overseeing product quality and presentation, maintain, and breakdown service and work areas so that they are well stocked and organized for efficient and safe service; regulate labor; oversee side work; cleaning duties; supervise and train staff; administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Chef (i.e. scheduling, payroll, etc.); effectively deal with personnel and customer service issues as they arise. The KAAM will be expected to be able to perform the responsibilities of each non-management position in the kitchen (i.e. prep cook, line cook, and dishwasher). The KAAM must be available to help solve & troubleshoot any problems that come up during the course of a shift. This position can be hard physical work and also takes mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment. The KAAM must have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Each employee will be expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to the Executive Chef, Property Management and/or General Management. All McMenamin employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events, history, and products. Other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
Requirements of the Job:
* Obtain and maintain current food handlers card
* Previous management related experience preferred but not required
* Ability to accurately work with numbers and accurately work with menu specs
* Excellent customer service & communication skills
* Flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays required
* Ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
Essential Functions of the Job:
* Produce excellent quality food for customers
* Safely lift and carry heavy objects with a hand truck or the help of another person if necessary

In general, every Power Station Line Cook will be asked to handle every task from the opening to the closing of the kitchen. Duties include, but are not limited to, the manufacture and presentation of all hot & cold food products. This may include salads, hot & cold sandwiches, pastas, hot & cold appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté & grill items. Each line cook is responsible for the organization and cleaning of their work area. Being a line cook can be hard physical work, takes mental agility, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. A line cook must have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Each employee is expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to Management.
