The Developmental Operations Manager is a Manager level role within Valmont's Coatings Division. Essential Functions:

Oversee the production operations of a galvanizing facility

Overview
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will minimize downtime by performing all necessary preventative and corrective maintenance while following all safety and environmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, electric controls, panel construction, wiring, fabricate, weld, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, solder, grind, saw, use hand tools and other shop equipment.
* Safely modify and install energy control devices.
* Monitor equipment and operations to meet quality and safety standards.
* Comply with lock out, tag out (LOTO), confined space, respirator, and other applicable training and procedures.
* Follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specs.
* Locate problem sources by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, talking to operators or supervisors, using manufacturer's manuals, and using precision measuring and testing equipment.
* Maintain maintenance supplies by anticipating needed equipment and communicating needed supplies and irregularities.
* Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
* Provide direction, guidance, information, and resolve customer or product design concerns.
* Perform administrative duties (complete paperwork accurately and timely and legible).
Qualifications
* At least eighteen (18) years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Technical Degree or three years multi-craft maintenance experience required.
* Able to pass a post offer drug test, background check, and fitness review.
* Demonstrate high attention to detail and self-motivation skills
* Capable of working in seasonal high temperatures and humidity (conditioned air environment).
* Excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in written and verbal communication, and good spelling and grammar.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel.
* Must provide tools as required to complete job duties.
Physical Requirements
* Frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 lbs.
* Capable of standing/walking and performing light physical labor uninterrupted for periods of up to three (3) hour intervals.
* Frequently bend, stoop, push, and reach during the shift.
* Frequently stand, walk, climb ladders, and reach with hands and arms.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
* Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance.
