Verify effectiveness and ensure actions are right-sized (correction vs CA) and properly documented.
ISO 9001 / QMS Support
Support day-to-day ISO 9001 execution with the QMS Manager; keep key logs/records current and audit ready.
Serve as a point person for training system execution, helping ensure training records are maintained and supporting onboarding by coordinating required training with department owners.
Provide inputs for management review (KPIs, complaint/CA status, audit results, training/onboarding status, and improvement actions).
Internal Audit Program
Coordinate the internal audit schedule, auditor assignments, and audit preparation.
Participate in audits and issue reports/findings with objective evidence.
Track findings to closure, trigger CA when required, and trend results for systemic improvement.
Documentation & Document Control
Help departments create/update SOPs and work instructions, emphasizing CTQs and acceptance criteria.

Reinforce point-of-use clarity and training linkage for updated documents.
Industry Standards, Certifications & External Documents (AWWA, NSF, UL, BNQ, etc.)
Learn and maintain working knowledge of applicable industry standards and certification requirements (e.g., AWWA, NSF, UL, BNQ, and customer/spec requirements).
Support compliance activities tied to these requirements (evidence/record collection, coordination with process owners, and responses during internal/external reviews).
Manage external documents related to standards/certifications (obtaining updates, ensuring current versions are available/controlled, and communicating changes to affected functions).
Continuous Improvement (CI)
Participate in CI/Lean events (Kaizen/A3/scrap reduction) and support implementation of outcomes.
Use data to prioritize improvement opportunities and reduce variation, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
Convert improvements into sustained controls (standard work updates, check sheets, audit points).
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related engineering/technical field (or equivalent experience).
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
Working knowledge of manufacturing quality concepts and willingness to learn ISO 9001, standards, and certifications.
Preferred

Job Description
The
Human Resources Manager
will be accountable for delivering human resources leadership for a manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives and promoting a results oriented and performance driven culture.
The Human Resources Manager will:
Lead the execution of talent management processes, including staffing, performance management, employee development, and succession planning
Provide strategic HR counsel to plant managers and regional leadership, ensuring alignment with company objectives

The
Combustion Engineer
works in partnership with the Batch and Furnace Manager, and the Production and Quality Managers, to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality and efficiency.
The Combustion Engineer should have:
Strong analytical skills and data analysis
Experience scheduling preventative maintenance
Experience with environmental regulations is a plus

The Combustion Engineer will:
Ensure safe and efficient operating conditions of glass melting furnaces
Ensure optimal energy consumption and proper burner set-up (flame geometry, length, overall profile)

Review furnace data on a daily basis and make adjustments as needed
Assist in managing production targets

An ideal candidate for this Quality Assurance Engineer role is a detail-oriented, proactive systems thinker with a strong foundation in manufacturing quality and a genuine curiosity to learn and grow in quality systems. They're eager to develop skills in customer complaint management, internal audits, document control, and leading corrective actions using structured problem-solving (5-Why, fishbone, 8D/A3). They enjoy partnering cross-functionally to translate requirements-including applicable standards and certifications-into practical controls (clear SOPs, effective verification, and data-driven actions that reduce customer complaints, scrap, and rework).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned. This position is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position.
Customer Complaints
Maintain the Customer Complaint Log (tracking, evidence, closure).
Lead complaint investigations (containment, product impact evaluation, cross-functional actions).
Trend complaints and drive actions to reduce repeats and customer complaints.
Corrective Action (CA) System
Initiate and oversee corrective actions when warranted (complaints, audit findings, significant/repeat issues).
Lead root cause and countermeasure development (5-Why/Fishbone/8D/A3) and ensure timely closure.
Verify effectiveness and ensure actions are right-sized (correction vs CA) and properly documented.
ISO 9001 / QMS Support
Support day-to-day ISO 9001 execution with the QMS Manager; keep key logs/records current and audit ready.
Serve as a point person for training system execution, helping ensure training records are maintained and supporting onboarding by coordinating required training with department owners.
Provide inputs for management review (KPIs, complaint/CA status, audit results, training/onboarding status, and improvement actions).
Internal Audit Program
Coordinate the internal audit schedule, auditor assignments, and audit preparation.
Participate in audits and issue reports/findings with objective evidence.
Track findings to closure, trigger CA when required, and trend results for systemic improvement.
Documentation & Document Control
Help departments create/update SOPs and work instructions, emphasizing CTQs and acceptance criteria.
Support document control activities (revisions, approvals, release, obsolescence, change communication).
Reinforce point-of-use clarity and training linkage for updated documents.
Industry Standards, Certifications & External Documents (AWWA, NSF, UL, BNQ, etc.)
Learn and maintain working knowledge of applicable industry standards and certification requirements (e.g., AWWA, NSF, UL, BNQ, and customer/spec requirements).
Support compliance activities tied to these requirements (evidence/record collection, coordination with process owners, and responses during internal/external reviews).
Manage external documents related to standards/certifications (obtaining updates, ensuring current versions are available/controlled, and communicating changes to affected functions).
Continuous Improvement (CI)
Participate in CI/Lean events (Kaizen/A3/scrap reduction) and support implementation of outcomes.
Use data to prioritize improvement opportunities and reduce variation, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
Convert improvements into sustained controls (standard work updates, check sheets, audit points).
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related engineering/technical field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
* Working knowledge of manufacturing quality concepts and willingness to learn ISO 9001, standards, and certifications.
Preferred
* 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, process engineering, continuous improvement, or a related role.
* Foundry/heavy manufacturing experience; Lean/Six Sigma exposure.
