Position 1: Melting-Senior Melter- Pay Rate between $24.96 and $27.96 per hour
Observing and maintaining magnesium, silicon, and chill material levels. Additionally, change lime bags as necessary.
Pouring Iron
Weigh coke and lime before each charge, check the coke and lime scale.
Clean the cupola long runner.
Clean pig bed and transfer ladle pits and any other areas assigned by supervisor.
Work with supervisor if ladles need to be repaired before the production run.
Communicate supervisor/s on issues that arise.
Position 2: Casting- Pipe Maker-Pay Rate between $24.96 and 27.96
Check the temperature of the iron hourly, remove slag from iron by using skimmer.
Remove buildup from quad ladle as needed, in addition to keeping the ladle full always.
Ensure the trough is heated properly. Maintain the maintenance of the trough by removing slivers, iron buildup, slag, and blackening.
Inspect machinery for mold defects.
Operate control panels to operate machinery.
Apply grease on spigot ring using a brush to spinning pipe mold. Remove iron from spigot ring and spill tray.
Other duties that are assigned by supervisor/manager.
Position 3: Hot Line-Senior Pipe Finisher Operator Pay Rate between 25.50 and $28.50

Job Summary: The Large Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating large-capacity forklifts to retrieve, stage, and load pipe products for shipment. Notify the Pipe Loader/Groundsman of any required accessories or fittings needed to complete each load.
Complete live loading and pre-loading of trailers with the correct pipe bundles, verifying accuracy against pick slips and ensuring proper stop order for carriers.
Record trailer numbers for in-house carriers, initial yard slips, obtain Pipe Loader initials upon completion, and submit all completed documentation to the Foreman for verification.
Inspect pipe bundles for cosmetic or physical defects prior to loading, identify and segregate non-conforming materials, and ensure only conforming product is shipped.

Position 2: Finishing Department- Cement Line Paint Line
Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator/Bundle Inspector is responsible for safely operating a forklift while ensuring the accuracy and quality of bundled pipe products prior to storage and shipment. Key responsibilities include completing forklift inspections, verifying bundling ticket information, and conducting visual inspections of bundles to identify cosmetic defects, stencil legibility, and coating completeness. The operator initials bundling tickets to verify inspections, records yard storage locations, and ensures all bundles entering the shipping yard are reviewed and signed off by a quality inspector. This position requires adherence to safety and quality standards, effective communication with supervision, and the ability to work a full production schedule, including all scheduled Saturdays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform fork truck check and complete appropriate form.
Confirm that all information on the bundling ticket is accurate.
Visually inspect every assembled bundle for obvious cosmetic.

• Supports production as the technical lead for operating and maintaining plant equipment in assigned areas. • Manages the design of machinery, plans and develops projects, tests, modifies and creates solutions to technical problems.
• Responsible for design and upgrades to both new and existing equipment projects.
• Responsible for design and upgrades to the electrical system within the facility.
• Able to design and draft electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
• Able to design control reliable safety circuits and interlocks. • Work with Vendor to maintain up to date Arc Flash program.
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software in performance of daily tasks.
• Direct and coordinate the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
• Knowledge in low and medium voltage AC and DC power systems
• Knowledge of equipment control circuits and a working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's.

Assist the Maintenance Supervisors with the coordination of cleanup and maintenance activities. Pay rate between $75,000 to $85,000.

Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts (18,000+ lbs.), with specific experience handling pipe or structural steel materials.
* A valid license with acceptable driving record.
* Valid forklift operator certification. Which will be re-evaluated once hired.
* Demonstrated knowledge of proper load handling techniques, including stacking heavy, round, or long materials.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
* Ability to work independently with strong initiative.
* Strong record of safety awareness.

3rd Shift Clean Up Crew- Pay Rate Between $24.38 and $27.38
Melting Area
Clean pig bed and transfer ladle pits and any other areas assigned by supervisor.
Work with supervisor if ladles need to be repaired before the production run.
Communicate supervisor/s on issues that arise.
Casting Area
Communicate with supervisor/s or specific production issues on cleaning certain areas of machines.
Ensure all machines are clean and ready for production time startups. Example: Puller beds, machine beds, ladle areas, around machine walk ways, and walkways between puller areas.
Ensure up and over area is clean.
Ensure ladles are on machines in a timely manner. Need to meet time hacks to get fire on them for production machine startups.
Communicate with supervisor on specific tools and or equipment needed for cleanup tasks.
Finishing Area
Communicate with supervisor/s on certain tasks needed to be done from the production run outside of normal clean up duties. (email - verbal - text)
Follow cleanup check sheets and hand to finishing department on a nightly basis.
Communicate all issues in a timely manner.
Communicate all work orders in a timely manner found in finishing departments.
Plant Maintenance
Coordinate with supervisor/s when issues arise of certain tasks on machines. Example: When maintenance needs the crane that is being used for cleaning up tasks
Communicate work orders in a timely fashion if found and not on the schedule with the maintenance department. To include, Casting, Hotline, Cement line, and Paint line.
Assist in signing lockout/tagout (LOTO) forms for maintenance employees.
Safety
Complete monthly safety requirements.
Complete safety paperwork assigned to you from all departments that cannot be completed during production hours.
All rates are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

Maintenance Millwright coordinates, participates, assists, constructs, fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains production and operational equipment that includes machines with hydraulic and pneumatic controls as required for the efficient operation and process of producing ductile iron pipe.

A Maintenance Millwrights' responsibilities include the following:
Ability to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems malfunctions.
Understanding of the correct handling and use of mechanical repair tools and equipment.
Make repairs and rebuilds all equipment throughout the plant
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Dismantles machines
Moves machinery and equipment
Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and rails
Constructs foundation for machines
Aligns machines and equipment
Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Preferred
Three to five years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.
Ability to read schematics, in depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Must be able to interact with all personnel levels
Must work with others in a professional, supportive manner
Ability to read policies and procedures
Ability to follow all work directives and safety procedures
