A Brief Summary of This Position: The Regional Quality Manager (RQM) is responsible for providing Quality Assurance guidance and support to their respective manufacturing locations. This includes indirect supervision or strong dotted line reporting structure between the RQM and plant quality personnel. This dotted line reporting structure ensures the RQM's have a voice in plant quality activities. As such, the RQM will provide quality related guidance directly to plant quality personnel. Additionally, the RQM is expected to work with plant management to help them understand how their plants are performing relative to quality requirements, and work with them on areas of opportunity. Other duties may be assigned. * 1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members. * Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. * Wear appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection. * Uses proper lifting and ergo techniques. * Reads work orders or receives oral instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needs. * Maintains cleanliness of the machining and assembly areas. * Empties trash and chip barrels * Monitors and cleans coolant tanks and sumps. * Uses a push broom, sweeps dust and debris from assigned areas and discards into receptacle bins. * Operate tow motor, skid steer, sweeper and related moving equipment to transport waste and product. * Notifies supervisor of errors or equipment stoppage. * Fills container such as oil can, grease gun, or tank of lubrication truck with specified lubricant. * Pours oil on moving parts and friction surfaces, or into holes, oil cups, or reservoirs. * Turns oil cup valves to regulate flow of oil to moving parts. * Forces grease into bearings with grease gun, smears grease on friction surfaces, or packs grease cups by hand * Fills wells and sumps of lubricating systems with oil. * Reclaims cutting and lubricating oils from machines by pumping oil from machine reservoir into barrel, dumping oil from barrel into centrifugal separator that removes metal chips and dirt from oil, and drains clean oil from separator into containers. * Use Hand tools to remove machine covers and waycovers to access areas of the machines to be cleaned and PM / Grease, and lubricate bearings in those areas of need. * Cleans around work areas. Position Description:Collaborate with all levels of field operations and Measurement Department to improve measurement across assets, especially in the central United States.Work with field operations in the field to promote consistency of measurement techniques, evaluate physical measurement, and build business case solutions as appropriate.Proactively utilize data and analysis tools/applications to investigate and identify possible measurement related issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Investigate measurement quality through knowledge and experience, data analysis and solid communications with field personnel. Identify and prioritize possible issues.Develop scope and business justifications for identified physical improvements to measurement.Lead investigation team for the development, prioritization and implementation of actions to solve pipeline measurement imbalances.Lead measurement assessment teams to assess the performance of physical measurement in the field and recommend/develop solutions based on finding Proactively look for new ways to analyze data, resolve problems and improve processes Provide measurement related field training as necessary.Perform other duties as required.*Job title/level and pay is commensurate with experience and skills.
