The Disability Cultural Center (DCC) supports disability community and education for disabled students, faculty, staff and alumni and all members of the University community. Purpose
Develop, implement and evaluate Disability and Access (D&A) education, communication and outreach programs in collaboration with UT's Disability Cultural Center (DCC), D&A staff, student groups, and campus and community partners. Serve as the liaison with Healthyhorns Communications team to manage D&A/DCC communication and social media. Support D&A staff with administrative tasks and special projects as needed. Work closely with the DCC to establish and maintain relationships with campus and community groups and serve as a point of contact for campus and community inquiries.
Responsibilities
Within Disability and Access:
* Oversee all daily logistical operations of education and outreach programs, including but not limited to: scheduling trainings, securing supplies for trainings, tabling, developing and implementing educational programs and staff development opportunities, and coordinating and marketing events and opportunities
* Oversee and implement event set up, including space management and coordination of relevant supplies and materials
* Manage D&A communications (monthly newsletter, social media, emails and website) and marketing campaigns and assets in collaboration with Communications team. Create and update educational materials and reports, including but not limited to: handouts, videos, online modules, etc.
* Serve as point of contact for general inquiries to D&A. Provide referrals and resources where appropriate. May assist with Drop In and/or intake appointments with current or prospective students and families
* Assesses outreach and education program effectiveness and recommend changes in programming, procedures, and policies, as appropriate. Develop and implement new activities and programming
* Establish and develop successful partnerships on campus that are mutually beneficial and support increased accessibility on campus
* Prepare program budget and control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
* Function as a member of D&A, assist with general functions of the office and special projects as assigned
In collaboration with the Disability Cultural Center:
* Develop and conduct trainings for university community (including students, faculty and staff) on disability and accessibility. Oversee program updates, evaluation and training of facilitators
* Collaborate with UT's Disability Cultural Center and other campus partners to plan and execute campus wide events and programming, including Disability Access and Belonging Month, orientation events, and Disability Graduation
* Facilitate relationships and coordinate events with career services offices, development and other campus and community partners related to employment, internships and career development
* Screen, schedule, and complete interview requests for student assignments and published media
* Oversee disability-related scholarships and awards
* May co-supervise student staff, interns and/or graduate students
* Organize and facilitate joint Disability and Access/Disability Cultural Center Student Advisory Committee and Faculty Advisory Committee
* Support operations of the physical Disability Cultural Center space, including monitoring open hours
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a field related to the work to be performed
* Demonstrated successful experience in program design and implementation
* Demonstrated knowledge of the lived disability experience, disability culture, disability studies, and universal design
* Experience working with student organizations, student development, student advising, and event planning
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various students, faculty, staff and people from the surrounding communities from varying backgrounds
* Demonstrated experience in public speaking and group facilitation
* Demonstrated interpersonal and management skills
* Excellent communication skills (ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing) and ability to develop email, social media, and educational content
* Ability to work effectively and pay close attention to detail in a high traffic area
* Skills to prioritize workload, with frequent interruptions
* Reasonable knowledge of policies and procedures of a large university is desirable

Purpose
The Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) RN provides specialized nursing care for patients with mechanical circulatory support devices, primarily Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs), used in the treatment of advanced heart failure. This role coordinates inpatient and outpatient care, including pre-implant education, post-operative management, and long-term follow-up. The VAD RN collaborates closely with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, transplant coordinators, advanced practice providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary heart failure team. Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Relevant education or experience may be substituted.

Purpose

Purpose of Position:
The Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve (MAR) at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute (MSI) seeks a qualified and motivated individual to lead the NERR's Stewardship Sector. The position will coordinate and complete the monitoring of vegetation, natural resources, and land management practices for the NERR, as well as be involved in projects focused on invasive species, habitat restoration, and marine debris. Updating, maintaining, and developing spatial databases and GIS applications for Reserve projects will also be their focus. This position will participate in regional stewardship meeting/groups and assist with visiting researchers, volunteers, and other collaborative efforts. Additional duties include supervising stewardship staff, grant management, and working with local, state, and federal partners.
Responsibilities:
Direct the Reserve's Stewardship Program, including developing annual NOAA award work plans and budgets, contributing to semi-annual reports to NOAA, and participating on all core team tasks and responsibilities
Participate fully in national NERRS Stewardship Program activities and represent MAR within the NERRS network more generally
Conduct field work and data analysis related to vegetation monitoring of emergent marsh, mangrove, and upland habitats
Collect geospatial data and provide GIS and mapping support to Reserve staff as needed. Includes data collection for vertical control needs for the MAR
Serve as a liaison with the resource management community by promoting data utilization and acting as a contact for resource and land managers

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in marine science, environmental science, wildlife biology, or related field. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Five years of recent experience in research, resource management, or conservation.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of ecology and the flora and fauna of the Texas coast.
Previous experience monitoring vegetation communities and removal of invasive species.
Field work experience is essential.
Ability to collect and manage geospatial data using advanced GPS equipment and Geographical Information Systems software

The Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve (MAR) at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute (MSI) seeks a qualified and motivated individual to lead the NERR's Stewardship Sector. The position will coordinate and complete the monitoring of vegetation, natural resources, and land management practices for the NERR, as well as be involved in projects focused on invasive species, habitat restoration, and marine debris. Updating, maintaining, and developing spatial databases and GIS applications for Reserve projects will also be their focus. This position will participate in regional stewardship meeting/groups and assist with visiting researchers, volunteers, and other collaborative efforts. Purpose
General Counseling and Mental Health Center, is seeking to fill one (1) positions as the coordinator of our Mindful Eating Program. Must be licensed at Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Psychologist.This position will provide short-term individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, prevention and outreach services to undergraduate and graduate students with emphasis on supporting students who present with disordered eating and/or body image difficulties.
Responsibilities

* Conduct initial assessments of students' presenting concerns. Conduct short-term counseling with students referred for service.
* Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation of all service contacts as required by center policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement a good blend of programmatic interventions which address the psycho-social mental health needs of students as applicable
* Identify group assignment preferences and propose/develop new groups, as appropriate.
* Initiate advertising/recruitment and screening for group.
* Facilitate groups in accordance with service agreement.
* Demonstrate knowledge about group counseling and/or seek appropriate training.

Purpose
The K-12 Program Coordinator's role will be to support the mission of the School of Civic Leadership by coordinating and managing events, facilitating teacher and prospective student engagement, and fostering strong relationships with partners. This position ensures seamless execution of K-12 teacher and prospective student events, overseeing logistics, resource management, and communication efforts.
Responsibilities
Provide logistical support for SCL and partner events around Texas (travel required).
Oversee K-12 event logistics, schedule events.
Oversee the full event lifecycle in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Recruitment & Civic Education, ensuring refreshments are ordered, technology needs are met, and unexpected challenges are addressed promptly.
Assist and collaborate with faculty involved in programs and events.
Develop and manage agendas for speakers and attendees, including coordinating travel arrangements, processing stipends and reimbursements, and handling related logistical needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the program, responding to inquiries and providing information as needed.
Direct event set up and break down, ensuring necessary resources are available. Greet teachers and students with a warm welcome. Coordinate with appropriate partners for virtual events to have adequate technology set up. Assist event hosts as necessary.
Write in-depth summaries of K-12 program events, providing content for School of Civic Leadership forum, and report relevant metrics.
Maintain event supplies, ensure adequate amount of print materials, signs, and swag. Create and actively maintain program supply inventory list, ordering additional materials as necessary. Purchase materials using various approved vendors by Procard and purchase order in collaboration with Business Affairs purchasing team.
Manage registration links and RSVPs for virtual and in-person K-12 teacher and prospective student events.
Attend internal meetings to stay abreast of internal and University purchasing policies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in related field with three years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience coordinating events, programs, or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Experience supporting logistics for in-person and virtual events, including scheduling, registration, travel coordination, and on-site support.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing summaries, reports, and event documentation.

Purpose
The Academic Program Coordinator supports the McCombs Success Scholars (MSS) program through academic advising, student persistence initiatives, and program coordination. This role is integral to fostering the success of first-generation and high-financial-need business students, with a focus on community, belonging, and academic progress. Employees may be required to report violations of law under Title IX and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). If this position is identified a Campus Security Authority (Clery Act), you will be notified and provided resources for reporting. Responsible employees under Title IX are defined and outlined in HOP-3031.
